Chairperson (Tiff)
1. Japanese students
In September, the NCPAG Student Council hosted a tour for visiting Japanese students from
Atom University. The visiting students were given a tour of the University and a visit to the
Vargas Museum within the campus. The tour ended with a get together at NCPAG and a
calligraphy demonstration with faculty and students.
2. NUS Orientation
In September, visitors from the National University of Singapore sent an invitation for students
interested in pursuing further studies. The NCPAG SC hosted the event and provided
assistance in relaying information regarding the programs offered.
3. The NCPAG Niigan and General Assembly was held last The event provided an avenue for
students and the administration to raise concerns and communicate points of improvement
4. Special Elections for the First and Third Year Batch Representatives
- Special elections were held to fill in the positions for the First and Third Year Batch
Representatives. Unfortunately, no student was nominated for the position of the Graduate
Representative. The winners of the special elections held online discussions with their
batchmates to gather insights on the types of activities they are interested in and provide an
avenue for students to raise concerns and bond as a batch.
5. During the National Mental Health Week, the SC put up a bulletin board with post-its that
encouraged students to "Share what you have" by writing their happy thoughts while others
were free to "Take what you need." by taking a paper from the board. This initiative motivated
students to spread good vibes and provide awareness on the mental health issues surrounding
our society today.
6. The NCPAG SC Primer was released in August to familiarize the students with the functions
and projects of the student council. The primer also included the vision of NCPAG Student
Council as well contact details of each member for easier reach.
7. The NCPAG SC assisted in mobilizing students to attend the UP NCPAG Dean Search
Forum held last November 29. A statement was delivered to highlight the main concerns of the
students that we want to be addressed by the next Dean.
Vice Chairperson (Nath)
1. Org Fair, August 2-5, 2016 at the NCPAG Lobby
The Org Fair, in partnership with the League of NCPAG Organizations was held to
showcase the different NCPAG organizations to NCPAGs new students. The orgs had set up
booths engaging new students through fun games, free snacks, and a lot more.
2. Ambassadors School, August 22, 2016 at NCPAG 307

-The NCPAG Ambassadors School is a project management seminar-workshop


intended to equip the official volunteer arm of the NCPAG SC. Attended by over 50 students, the
participants learned from the speakers who gave talks on Leadership & Programs Management,
Logistics & Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
3. Freshies, Shiftees and Transferees Assembly, August 31 at NCPAG AVR
The FST Assembly is the assembly of new students of NCPAG to acquaint them with the
College. A brief introduction of NCPAG and its Centers, NCPAG SC and NCPAG Organizations
were given, along with a message from the College Secretary and the Dean.
4. Comprehensive Project Management Guide, Ambassadors ID and shirt
A comprehensive project management guide was given to the NCPAG Ambassadors to
aid them in handling SC Projects and Events as well as letter templates. This year, IDs and
shirts were also made available for use of the Ambassadors during events.
5. LNO Statement against Marcos Burial at the LNMB
The LNO released a unity statement against Former President Ferdinand Marcos burial
at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani, signed by all NCPAG organizations.
Usapang NCPAG Martial Law
The NCPAG Student Council in coordination with the NCPAG Administration held the Usapang
NCPAG for the Month of September with the theme of "Revisiting the Marcos Dictatorial
Regime" last September 28. Speakers included Historians Dr. Zeus Salazar, Atty. Severo
Madrona Jr., and Mr. Juan Carlos Tejano of the Akbayan Youth.

Partnerships:

Events:
1. A Look into Law
The event was held on September 15, 2016 at the Sta. Ana Room in Malcolm Hall, UP
College of Law, UP Diliman.
The event was a law career orientation aimed at introducing the field of law by exploring its
different areas and career opportunities.
With the cooperation of the Law Student Government and several organizations, the event
was able to successfully cater to students from different colleges in the university interested in
the field of law.
2.) Public Service x Beyond
The event was held on October 18, 2016, at the Main Library Lobby, Gonzalez Hall, UP
Diliman.
The event was a forum which aimed to inspire students to pursue careers in public service
by exploring the diverse opportunities that enable one to become a passionate and pro-active
citizen.
With the participation of several organizations, the forum was able to gather students from
different colleges in the university and institutions outside UP Diliman to discover career
opportunities in public service.

- Several installments of the Infobitz were released this semester.


- Lingkod Bayan Talk: Diskursong Teritoryo (event)

The first leg of the Lingkod Bayan Series, entitled Diskursong Teritoryo: Enhancing the Quality of the
Public Debate on the West Philippine Sea was held last October 10, 2016. The forum discussed
territorial disputes between the Philippines and China, economic, and political implications of gaining
rights over the West Philippine Sea.

Finance (Robert)

Monthly publishing of the NCPAG SC's financial statements
- Make Your Money Work (event)
Make Your Money Work: Revenue Avenue was held last November 10. The educational
discussion on financial management discussed Money and Investment, Basics of
Sound Investments, and Stock Market 101 that equipped and benefited attendees
mostly from the Samahan ng UP Manininda, an alliance of all kiosk vendors and
merchants working inside the University and UP students.
Internals (Clarice)
- The NCPAG Student Government Public Drive was launched this semester for greater
transparency from the NCPAG SC. The drive is comprised of the Students' Charter, GA Minutes,
SG Constitution and financial statements. It also includes the NCPAG Student Survival Kit,
NCPAG Student Academic Toolkit, and student opportunity files.
- NGAGE (event
NGAGE is a month long activity during October that aims to encourage new students in NCPAG
to learn more about the culture of the college. Groups composed of new and old students were
formed and assigned to accomplish tasks around the university. Team Fourtified was declared
the winner and won tickets from Jump Yard.
- Acquaintance Party
The NCPAG Student Council held CHAOS, the official acquaintance party for NCPAG undergraduate and
graduate students which also served as the culminating night for participants of NGAGE and the
coronation night of the Mr. and Ms. Lingkod Bayan last October 28.
Ways and Means (Merryl)
- Marketing 101
Marketing 101 was held last September 5. Various speakers were invited to talk about branding
and marketing campaigns, events planning and sponsorship immersion, & sales and
merchandise. The 60 attendees participated in the following immersions: face to face marketing,
brand making and events planning, and code calling.
- Motivational stickers were sold during the National Mental Health Awareness Month
Outreach and Advocacies (Czarlo)
- Boodle, Immersion, G? Basic Mass Exposure
The NCPAG Student Council held a Basic Mass Exposure last September 26 at the GK Munting
Pamayanan Village. The activity was an opportunity to provide students with a better
understanding on the situation of the communities in the area and educate the volunteers on
how to organize more activities like outreaches in the future.

- Books collected from the previous year were donated to a barangay in Sorsogon that was in
the process of constructing a library.
- Lakbayan x LB
A dialogue between several individuals of the national minorities and the National Commission
of Indiginuous People was held at the NCPAG last October 25. Students listened to the different
experiences and struggles of the minorities present and a representative of the AMIN partylist
discussed the work done in Congress that contributed to forwarding the concerns of our national
minorities.
- Egg Kitchen
This semester the Student Council assisted in mobilizing students to join the egg kitchen. Three
events were organized to give food and toys to patients at the East Avenue Medical Center.

A simple sportsfest that showcased the teamwork and camaraderie of each batch.
Moreover, it also showed how dynamic an NCPAG student is, excellent in both acads and
athletics
Basic Student Services (Zaianne)
1. Student Services
Student services offered for the first semester includes printing services available
at the NCPAG Student Council office, assistance in petitioning for needed subjects (2
classes were granted to accommodate graduating students), an online mechanism for
the grievances (OMG) of students, a first aid kit free for everyone to use as needed.
Bluebooks and yellow pad papers are also sold at a low price for the students
convenience.
2. Freshies, Shiftees and Transferees Assembly, August 31 at NCPAG AVR
The FST Assembly is the assembly of new students of NCPAG to welcome them
to the College and to acquaint them with BPA curriculum. A brief introduction of NCPAG
and its Centers, NCPAG SC and NCPAG Organizations were given, along with a
message from the College Secretary and the Dean.
3. FST Survival Kit
The FST Survival kit is especially made for the new students of NCPAG to
provide them with basic and useful information about the degree program, the college,
and the university. The kit also introduced the college-based organization, the student
council officers, and the centers of NCPAG. It was distributed during the FST Assembly
to almost 70+ students.
4. UP Lantern Parade 2016
The annual UP Lantern Parade was held last December 16 around the campus
with participants from the different colleges and organizations inside UP Diliman. The
lantern-making was a joint effort by the NCPAG admin, the NCPAG student council, and
the NCPAG student government.

A comprehensive workshop on Promotions and Publicity Material production.


A number of NCPAG ambassadors and members of the Student Government took part of the
event in order to be a member of the Creatives and Publicity Committee of the NCPAG
Student Council.

The NCPAG Student Council in partnership with UP JPIA and UP JFA, conducted SouPass:
Acctg 1 Tutorial on September 26, 2016 at NCPAG Rm 307. The activity aimed to provide
assistance to those who need help in the subject, clarify topics that they find difficult to
comprehend and review them before their examination.With the help of its partner organizations
and tutor volunteers, Acctg 1 students were able to review four chapters they found most
difficult. Samplexes were also distributed during the event as well as uploaded in the public
drive.
