Oracle Hyperion Smart View Ribbon in Excel.

Audience: Business users / IT Application Support / BTA / IT Ops

Problem: Missing Oracle Hyperion Smart View Ribbon in Excel.

Purpose: You can restore the Smart View Ribbon by re-enabling it in

the Add-Ins section of your Excel Options.

Cause: By recent crash of Microsoft Excel or add-ins problem

Resolution:
Steps:

1. To restore the ribbon, open excel, go to file, then go to the Office

Button > Excel Options > Add-Ins.

2. Open Disabled Items from the Manage drop-down box, and

click Go
3. Select the appropriate Add-In(s) and click Enable > Close.

4. Open Excel Add-Ins from the Manage drop-down box, and

click Go
5. Add a check mark next to the appropriate Add-In(s) and click OK.

6. Return to the Office Button > Excel Options > Add-Ins.

7. Open COM Add-Ins from the Manage drop-down box, and click Go
8. Add a check mark next to the appropriate Add-In(s) and click OK.

9. Restart Excel. The Smart View Ribbon should reappear.
