Quadratic equation trick

Note :- in all trick I m using very simple example because it will help u to understand
Before start 1st know about a,b and c
aq2-bq+c=0

Trick 1
aq2-bq+c=0
example= q2-15q+56=0
here

a=+01
b=-15
c=+56

b value is in ve
c value is in +ve
so final result term will be
greater will +ve
and lesser also +ve

so all cases we can get this chart

Terms given
B
+
+

C
+
+
-

Final we get
terms in
Greater Lesser
+
+
+
+

Remember this chart it is very important

Now Try to find only final sign by above trick

1.p2 + 7p + 10 = 0
2.p2 - 9p + 20= 0
3.p2 - 12p - 28 = 0
4. 3p2 + 8p - 5 = 0
After remember this now find factors
Example= p2 +2p - 8 = 0
1st stap
Here sign are + and so ans will and +
2nd step
Find fectors
Factors are 4 and 2
And greater 4 so = - 4 and lesser 2 so = + 2

Above trick is almost same as u solve but some trick u will not confuse in exam like which sign which
greater which less
but some more short trick which will help u more

Trick 2
This trick only applicable when we have sign
1st equestion B= -ve

C= +ve

2nd equestion b=+ve

c = +ve

For example
1st

p2 - 17p + 72 = 0

2nd 10q2 + 9q + 2 = 0
Here in 1st u have and + finaly u get
2nd u have + and + finaly u get So without solve u will get

p>q and tick on p >q

Try it is 101% correct

Trick 3
ap2 +bp -c= 0
When u solve a ,b and c and find value 0 so one term is 1
Example :- 2p2 +3p -5= 0
a=+2 b=+3 and c = -5
so +2+3-5=0 so one term of this equation is = 1
now u say 1 term mil jaaye to use kya hoga dusra bhi milna chahiye
trick to find 2nd term

2p2 +3p -5= 0

That's My Way

We know 1st term is 1 so 2nd will

c/1st term -5/1 =-5 then
-5/a=-5/2
Another example
l. 4x2 - x - 3 = 0
a=+4 b=-1 c=-3
+4-1-3=0
So one term is =1
Now 2nd c/1st term =-3/1 it means =-3 then
-3/a=-3/4 so 2nd term is = -3/4

Trick 4
When I change sign of term of b
4x2 - x - 5 = 0
ap2 -bp -c= 0
here b term sign is ve if I change it to +ve then
a=4 b =+1(-ve changeto +ve) c= -5
now solve a,b and c
4+1-5=0
So it is same as above trick 3 we get 0 it means one term is 1
But here I change sign so term will be = -1
Now solve 2nd term as above trick
c/1st term -5/-1 ans = 5
then

5/a = 5/4

2nd term is 5/4

It is over all example I m taking is very simple bcoz it is difficult to understand but when u practice it

u will get mastery in it so practice more and more thank u so much

below trick I learn by my friend

No relationship Cases between X & Y
Case- 1: When one of the roots of x &y are common and
the other roots of both x & y are greater than the common root.
Eg x = 2 ; 3
Y= 2 ; 4
Case 2: When one of the roots of x & y are common and
the other roots of both x & y are less than the common root.
Eg x = 1 ; 2
Y=0;2
Case 3: When both the roots of x are contained in the range
of the two roots of y.
Eg x = 2 ; 3
Y=1;4
Case 4: When both the roots of y are contained in the range
of the two roots of x.
Eg x = -1/2 ; 4
Y= -1/3 ; 2
Case 5: When both roots of x are each less than atleast one
root of y but one of the roots of x is greater than the one of the roots of y.
Eg x = 2 ; 5
Y=3;6

Case 6: When both roots of Y are each less than atleast one
root of X but one of the roots of Y is greater than the one of the roots of X.
Eg x = -1/4 ; -1/8
Y = -1/2 ; -1/6
Case- 7 : When both the two pairs of roots of X & Y are
equal.
Eg X = 3 ; 4
Y = 3 ; 4 here , x1 = y1 = 3 ; x2 = y2 =4
You can check the
validity of each case by representing them on the number line .
