Driving as many as 78 passengers to and from school takes a lot of concentration. 100% of which
should be focused on the ones who depend on driver alertness most your passengers. Thats
why weve designed the interior to work as seamlessly with our drivers as possible. Between its
easy-reach features and roomy cockpit area, the CE Series has what it takes to make our drivers

Easy-Reach Design
Dash-mounted power parking brake positioned to make applying the
brake easier on drivers.
Driver cockpit accounts for actual measurements of over 1,500 real
school bus drivers to ensure optimum ergonomics and maximum
comfort reducing driver fatigue.
Electrically activated passenger door with standard electric vandal lock-on
entrance door to increase driver control during loading and unloading.
8 lamp and entrance door switches placed on the steering wheel allow
the driver to maintain control better in loading/unloading situations.

Safety First
32'' wide entrance door and 36'' wide step well for easier loading and unloading.
Integrated front bumper crossing control gate helps to ensure that
students do not cross in front of the bus.
Standard Leave No Student Behind feature ensures drivers disable alarm at rear
of bus before exiting, ensuring no student is overlooked.
Visual and audible alarms notify driver of low voltage occurrence.
Hydraulic parking brake automatically sets when vehicle is switched off.

the CE Series with sturdy 16-gauge steel side rails
and offer 13,500 21,000-lbs vari-rate spring capacity
suspension, making it one of the most long-lasting
buses on the road today.

Maximum Durability
Wrap-around 12" rear bumper with through-the-bumper exhaust is bolted onto frame for added
strength and easier repair.
Standard 16-gauge steel body and all-steel rub rail construction provide increased strength and
corrosion resistance.
Connectors exposed to road spray or elements are sealed and locked to prevent corrosion.
Traditional hard-drive rivet construction is based on 120% of design strength guidelines based
on FMVSS requirements.
Threaded steel body frame construction interlocks roof bows, drip rail and roof stringers into
single frame unit.
Chassis frame rails and axles assembled in digitally controlled precision fixtures, which ensures
the completed chassis is assembled precisely.
Recessed clearance lights on front and rear of bus improve durability.
Rear and side emergency doors equipped with internal hidden hinges are not exposed to the
elements, helping to prevent corrosion and freezing.
Proflex stepwell improves corrosion resistance.

or computer devices attached to bus.
3-piece flat roped-in windshield and roped-in stationary glass for easier and more cost-effective
glass replacement.
