Cazul Amityyville

On November 13, 1974, In Amityville, New York

Ronald Defeo burst into Harry's Bar screaming his parents had been shot.
Police discovered the bodies of 6 members of the DeFeo family..
Father, mother,. and 4 of the 5 Defeo children
Face Down, executed in their beds.

were found,

Ronald claimed he wasn't home during the murders

and only discovered the bodies of his parents prior to arriving at Harry's Bar
But after Police found a gun box for a .35-Marlin Rifle in Ronald's Room, he subsequincially
confessed.
After a lengthy trial Ronald DeFeo Was found guilty of the heinous murders.
And was sentenced to 6 consecutive life sentences.
But There's never been a solid explanation of how just this 1 person acting alone could take the
lives of these 6 people in an Upscale residential community and the shots from an unsilenced 35marlin rifle were never heard.
Why the victims showed no sign of struggle all found face down
Toxicology showed no signs of the family being drugged and forensics felt the bodies were never
moved.

The Lutz Family

On December 18, 1975, the Lutz family moved into the DeFeo home.
Though it had only been 13 months since the DeFeo murders had occurred,
George and Kathleen Lutz thought the Dutch colonial
was a lovely home and a steal at $80,000 Never expecting
theyd have to leave it all behind 28 days later.
A catholic priest arrived while the Lutz family was unpacking to bless the family home. As the
priest made his way upstairs to the second floor entering the bedroom which had formerly
belonged to Marc and John DeFeo, he began sprinkling holy water at which point an unseen
voice told the priest "Get out!" Which he hastily did.
The Priest did not tell the Lutz family about the voice,
But he did warn them " Do not use it the upstair room as a bedroom, and not
do not let anyone sleep in there. Although ominous, the Lutz family abided by the words of the
priest and turned the room into a sewing room.
From the very first night they moved in, the family claimed they felt strange sensations. Within
days the family's personality had drastically changed arguments ensued.
George was plagued by a constant chill and spent all his time feeding the fire place
George also noticed a change in his grooming habits and his and Kathy's health declined
drastically.
The Lutz's daughter began spending all her time in her room playing with an imaginary friend.

She described as red eyed pig called Jodie, who could transform not only shape but size at times
being larger than the house.
Jodie also claimed she could not be seen by anyone unless she wanted them to..
Mysterious foul odors would emanate from different locations of the house.
Black stains appeared on the toilets and ceramic fixtures.
Kathy was touched by an unseen force and a
Green gelatin substance would appear throughout the house.
Hundreds of flies appeared in the sewing room despite it being the dead of winter.
George would wake up nightly at 3:15 a.m. which coincided with the time the police felt the
Defoes were murdered
George also awoke one night to witness his wife transform into a 90-year-old hag and the next
night she began levitating off the bed. The Lutz family tried on numerous occasions to contacted
the Catholic priest
Only to find the phones would cut out whenever they would try to call.
After failing to get the priest to return, the family took matters into their own hands. Armed with a
crucifix, they walked throughout the house reciting the Lord's Prayer. A chorus of voices erupted
in response, asking them, "Will you stop?"
The final night was reported to be the worst, banging and wrappings as loud as a marching bands
emanated throughout the house, furniture being moved by its own accord, and the children being
terrorized .
After 28 days in the DeFeo home, the family claimed they could take no more.
They grabbed only a few belongings and fled the house, taking shelter at Kathy Lutz's mother's
home in nearby Babylon.
20 days after the Lutz's fled Paranormal Investigators Ed & Lorraine Warren were called in by
Marvin Scott a news reporter with channel 5 NY who had covered the Amityville story and worked
on a prior investigation with the Warrens.
A team of reporters, investigators, and parapsychologists were assembled by Ed Warren and met
at the home at 112 Ocean Avenue., the Lutz family refused to re-enter the home during the
investigation
During the investigation Ed was physically pushed to the floor while using some religious
provocation in the basement, Lorraine was also overwhelmed by the sense of a Demonic
presence and was plagued by her psychic impressions
of the Defeo Families bodies laid along the floor covered in white sheets, and a sense of
physically being pushed back
The research team also captured an image of spirit that appeared as a little boy peering from the
second floor. The land was also found to be used by John Ketchum . John Ketchum was a
practicing black magician and had a cottage on the land prior to the construct of the Dutch
Colonial in 1924. John requested that his remains be buried on that property and they remain
there till this day
The Shinicock Indians also at one time had an enclosure on this land that was used to house the
sick, and the mad, those in this enclosure were left to die.
The Warrens believed that the suffering there had left the property with a very negative energy
and dark history. And that Such a negative history was a magnet for demonic spirits and the
preternatural.

The Warrens believe these energies directly impacted the lives of both the Defoes and the Lutz's.
The Warrens retrieved a handful of the Lutz's earthly possessions and deed for the property The
Lutz's sold the rest of their belongings and relocated to California.
The Ocean Avenue home that was once purchased for $80,000 in 1975 by the Lutz family, sold
for $950.000.00 in 2010, and is again on the market. There have been no further reports of
activity from recent residents.
Article by Jason Butler
The New England Society For Psychic Research
For over fifty years now, Ed and Lorraine Warren have been considered America's preeminent
experts on the subject of spirits and demonology. Even more important perhaps, is the fact that
they have also been the very same people for the past fifty years whom religious authorities have
repeatedly called in to control some of the most profane outbreaks of diabolical phenomena in the
country. Cases where priests become possessed. Cases where people are physically attacked.
Cases where unworldly entities manifest and then preside. Cases where time is violated and the
physical environment is completely rearranged. Cases where spirits don't just haunt a house, they
visibly tear it apart.
Ed and Lorraine Warren have dedicated their lives to this work, and they share the wisdom they
have gained during their extraordinary career in this field. The work they perform is remarkable.
And you can be certain, after all this time, they know things that are completely astounding. The
cases they divulge will shock you; yet it is the significance of what they say that will actually floor
you. Moreover, the Warrens don't mince words. They know what they're talking about. They have
seen it. They have done it. The Warrens reveal both the methods and the motives behind spirit
activity; indeed they reveal what really breaks the peace in haunted houses, and precisely what it
means to you. Both now and forever.
Ed Warren is a demonologist. Lorraine Warren is a trance medium. But you'd never know it if you
met them on the street. They are not occultists. They are not strange. They are essentially
ordinary people who happen to do highly extraordinary work. And though the Warrens have no ax
to grind, their orientation is distinctly religious. For in reality, that is the only way it is possible to
function in this work. Because that which they confront are not vaporous, indistinct phantoms that
simply come and go in the night. The forces they confront are religious entities that - by their own
admission - exist for the sheer purpose of opposing the
works of God.
Diabolical forces are formidable. These forces are eternal., and they exist today. In a world that
scoffs at ghosts and laughs at the unusual, the Warrens deliver a contrary message. That
message is this: The fairy tale is true. The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very
destiny hinges upon which one we elect to follow
Passing The Torch
Lorraine Warren has decided to retire from active investigations regarding the areas of haunted
houses and demonic infestations/possessions. Although she will still be a consultant to the
N.E.S.P.R. and it's team of investigators, she will no longer participate in active, on site
investigations.
She will be passing on the " torch " to her son- in- law, Tony Spera, who has worked with both Ed
and Lorraine Warren for over thirty years.
Lorraine will no longer be available for personal appearances.

Tony Spera will be available for lectures and special appearances, as well as assisting families
with problems associated with paranormal activity.
Tony Spera may be reached by emailing him at : nespr2@yahoo.com
The Warrens ~ The Early Years
Ed Warren grew up in a ~Haunted House~in Connecticut from the young age of five until he was
twelve he reflects. My father, who was a police officer at the time would often say, Ed, there's a
logical reason for everything that happens in this house." but he never came up with that logical
reason."
My family would all go to bed and just around two to three o'clock in the morning, many times I
would hear the closet door beginning to open up. At first I'd look into that closet and see only
shapeless darkness, then slowly I'd start to see a light beginning to form and it would morph into
like a ball shape, sort of like a basketball and then I'd begin to see a face in that ball," " That is
called a Ghost Globule. "
"In that Globule was a face. face of an old woman, and she was not looking at all pleasant. The
globule would then come out into my bedroom and then accompinied by audible footsteps and
heavy breathing. The room would then became icy cold, an unnatural cold, a Psychic Cold, and
I'm saying to myself, Ed There's a logical reason for everything, But by that time I was out of the
bed and right between my mother and father in their bed.
When Ed Warren was 16 years-old he worked as an usher at "The Colonial Theatre" in
Bridegport Connecticut, and it was there that he met Lorraine Rita Moran. "Lorraine and her
mother used to come every Wednesday night," Ed remembered.
I'd see Lorraine coming in and we started talking, and we became friends. I was 16 at the time
and she was 16,
one night I walked her home and asked her for a date"
" And that's how it all got started.
Art & Ambition
Ed Warren went into the Navy on his seventeenth birthday and four months later, after his ship
sank in the North Atlantic he was home for 30-day survivor's leave. It was during that leave that
the two were married. When Ed returned after World War II he and Lorraine had a daughter, and
Ed went to Perry Art school which is a Subsidiary of Yale for about two years.
I got fed up with that, Ed said. I told Lorraine one day, You know, I can paint better than these
instructors. What they're teaching me is a lot of Geometry and a lot of nonsense that I don't need
for painting. I said, "We'll have some fun."
So I bought this car for $15 dollars which I still have in the yard. It's a 1933 Chevy Eagle, Deluxe.
The guy gave me two wheels with it. I had to pay him off on time, five dollars a week. I said to
Lorraine, You know, if we go up to the new areas where they're opening up for tourists like
Massachusetts, Vermont, New HampshireI'll bet I can take a bunch of my paintings and put
them out there when people are walking by and we'll sell some.

The Warrens did have fun, We were making a fantastic living, selling the paintings for fabulous
pricesthree dollars, four dollars. But you've got to remember one thing, hot dogs were a dime,
hamburgers were a dime, the theater was a quarter, gas was 18 cents a gallon. So, when you
made five dollars on a painting, you were doing pretty good.
It was through painting that The Warrens began their ~Ghost Investigations. If Ed heard of any
place that claimed to be haunted, whether a haunted house, or a haunted location he would drag
Lorraine to check it out. Oh Ed, there are no such things as ghosts, Lorraine would say, Ed
would then remind her of his days at his haunted home in Bridgeport & Lorraine would go.
How The Warrens would get into these haunted houses is especially interesting, We were just
kids nobody was just going to let us in, we were curiosity seekerswe were not yet the directors
of The New England Society for Psychic Research."
I'd go out in the middle of the road where they could all see me and I'd start to sketch the house
and you'd see the curtains going back and forth What's this kid doing? they would be thinking. I
would do a really nice sketch of the house with ghosts coming out of it, and I'd give it to Lorraine,
she'd go knock on the door and with her Irish personality she'd say, Oh, my husband loves to
sketch and paint haunted houses ,and he made this for you. I made it special for them.
It was through the paintings that The Warrens got themselves into these Haunted Houses. And
then they would talk with the homeowners one-on-one. Basically, Ed just wanted to see if the
same things happened to those families that happened to his family, through his art the lives of
these two incredible people were formed.

TheWarren's thoughts on the Paranormal

Ed Warren "If you look at a fan and it's standing still, you can see the propellers very easily. But, if
that fan starts up you can't see anythingit's invisible. Spirits are on that different vibrational field.
They're all around us right now but you can't see them. But if you were like Lorraine, you could
see them clairvisually, hear them claiaudioally."
I can't. And it wouldn't pay for me to do that because as an investigator people would think I'm a
little odd seeing ghosts flying around when they couldn't see anything. So, I have to see it, I have
to feel it, I have to hear it, I have to record it before I accept it.
But, mediums and clairvoyants are very necessary to us because they tell us immediately if
something is there. I wouldn't knowI could go into a building for a month and not know if there is
something really there. I could interview the people, and maybe through my knowledge I could tell
if something is there, but the clairvoyant is the draw. The spirits are drawn to a
medium/clairvoyant like a moth is drawn to a flame.
Many times we use three or four clairvoyants in one place. We take them into a house one-at-atime, they don't know where they're going, what the case is about, etc. And if they all tell me the
same thing, that they see a woman spirit in a certain room or a man or a child, then I know that
we're on the right track.
I do think scientifically, we do have scientists working with us, and I think theologically and
scientifically. There are organizations of atheists, so-called skeptical investigators that say, There
is no proof scientifically that God exists, that spirits exist that miracles occur.
That's ridiculous, there's all kinds of proof. In [the Occult Museum] we have hundreds of items, we
have thousands of cases between here and the other buildings out there that prove beyond a

shadow of a doubt that the supernatural exists and the pre-to-natural exists. When I say `pre-tonatural' I'm talking about negative and `supernatural' is positive.
We have filmed the white Lady of Easton. We have filmed poltergeists, attacks on people, ghosts
and we have taken many pictures of ghosts.
We work with any clergy that their religion teaches love of God and love of your fellow man. We
are not stupid enough to think that because we are Catholics that we are the only religion saved
that's what the problem is with Ireland is todayand a lot of other places. We work with all
people of all faiths.
We have thousands of pictures of ghosts. And I'm not talking about filmy ectoplasmic type
material, I'm talking about spirits that are as clear as you and I. You ask us for evidence, we'll give
you that evidence.
We proved in a court of law in 1989 that a woman and her young child driven out of her house by
ghosts. She lived in Hebron, Connecticut. We went into Rockville court and we won the case. The
Realtor that leased her the house was suing her for $2,000. She begged us to go into the house
and to get some evidence that would prove that there really were ghosts.
Now, you don't walk into a court of law and saw, Well judge, there was ghosts there. You have
to have evidence. In any court of law they use photographs, recordings and credible witnesses as
evidencethat's what we use. We won the case, we set a precedent here in the United States.
Scientists would say, you didn't prove a thing, because you didn't take that ghost and put it in a
bottle so we can open him up and examine him. That's stupid. They're saying that scientifically
that you have to prove that God exists, that ghosts exist, there is no such thing you can't get
scientific in a supernatural world.
So, if we can prove in a court of law that ghosts exist and haunted houses exist I think that's good
enough for anyone.

The New England Society For Psychic Research

The New England Society for Psychic Research was founded in 1952 and the goal at first was to
simply investigate hauntings. Then, around 1965 the Warrens went into a home where the spirit
of a little girl named Cynthia and they listened to the little child coming through a deep-trance
medium and she was looking for her mother. Ed thought to himself, This is horrible, this little
child is earth-bound. She's looking for her mother constantly day in and day out. How do I help
this child?
It was no longer just experiencing the hauntings, now the Warrens wanted to help. The question
arose as to where to get the knowledge to help anybody in spirit? Well, who delves into the
supernatural? Priests, clergyman, rabbis. Ed started interviewing dozens and dozens of
clergyman of all faiths, and would ask them If somebody called you from your parish and said
there was a ghost in the house what would you do?
Some said, I tell them to go see a psychiatrist. Others said, I'd go to the house and I'd bless it.
If the blessing didn't work I'd say a mass, and if the mass didn't work I'd perform the right of
exorcism. But many Catholic priests interviewed didn't even believe there's a devil. And yet all of
this material is part of Catholicism's' teaching. It is in the bible, within every ten words you have a
psychic word: apparition, ghost, devil, demon, evilit's all in the bible, everything we talk about.
N.E.S.P.R.'s work is based in religion but also uses science. People have said to the Warrens,

Oh God, you go into a house and you look for devils. And Ed's response, Your damn right I look
for devils, and I look for everything else to. And I have the scientists with me and they're looking
for something else and we get together and we talk and straighten the whole thing out. Nobody
can bring us into a house and fool us. You couldn't tell us that your house is haunted and get
away with it because I'm the biggest skeptic going. I have to see it, I have to hear it and I have to
feel it with the physical sense.
Medical doctors, researchers, police officers, nurses, college student and house wives are all
dedicated members who volunteer their services. The N.E.S.P.R. does not charge for their
services and only asks for expenses to be covered.
The Skeptics
People have said, Ed Warren hides behind his beliefs of Catholicism, but he claims he uses
them, he doesn't hide behind anything. And I know that [Biblical beliefs] are fact because I've
seen and I've heard and I've felt all the things that it talks about.
People have called Ed Warren an eccentric because he believes in devils and demons, Of
course I do, he replies. I learned about them as a child and proved they exist as a manbeyond
a shadow of a doubt. If you don't want to call them devils and demons call them evilI don't care
what you call them. Religions are man-made, but spirituality isn't.
From the day's that I went into a haunted house I always wanted media people with me and
people condemned me for that. They said, Ed Warren wants to be written up in newspapers, he
wants to have books and movies. He wants to be exposed to the public. You're damn right I do.
My whole thought is expose the devil and expose evil. A skeptical public is the best protection that
evil has, and I'm going to make sure that I expose that evil anyway I can. People tell us that we
get a lot of money for what we are doing here, our money comes very hard through these books
and lectures. We don't get any easy money and the money we get we deserve and we don't
charge for our services. But if you want us to come to Arizona, we are going to ask you for
expenses.
ANNABELLE
THE CURSE OF THE DEVIL DOLL
HOUSED IN THE WARRENS OCCULT MUSEUM
In 1970 a mother purchased an antique Raggedy Ann Doll from a hobby store. The doll was a
present for her daughter Donna on her birthday. Donna, at the time, was a student in college,
preparing to graduate with her nursing degree and resided in a tiny apartment with her room mate
Anngie (a nurse as well). Pleased with the doll Donna placed it on her bed as a decoration and
didn't give it a second thought until a few days later. With in that time both Donna and Angie
noticed that there appeared to be something very strange and creepy about the doll. The doll
apparently moved on its own, relatively unnoticeable movements at first, like a change in position,
but as time passed the movement became more noticeable. Donna and Angie would come home
to find the doll in a completely different room from which they had left it . Sometimes the doll
would be found crossed legged on the couch with its arms folded , other times it was found
upright, standing on its feet, leaning against a chair in the dining room. Several times Donna,
placing the doll on the couch before leaving for work, would return home to find the doll back in
her room on the bed with the door closed.

The Messages
Annabelle the doll not only moved but could write too. About a month into their experiences

Donna and Angie began to find penciled messages on parchment paper that read "Help Us" and
"Help Lou". The hand writing looked to belong to that of a small child. The creepy part about the
messages was not the wording but the way they were written. At the time Donna had never kept
parchment paper, on which the notes were written, in the house, so where did it come from?
The Medium
One night Donna came home to find the doll had moved again, this time it was on her bed. Donna
had come to find that this was typical of the doll but some how she knew this time it was different,
something wasn't right. A sense of fear came over her when she inspected the doll and saw what
looked like blood drops on the back of its hands and its chest. Seemingly, from no where, a
liquidy red substance had appeared on the doll. Scared and desperate Donna and Angie decide it
was time to seek expert advice.
Not knowing where to turn they contacted a medium and a seance was held. Donna was then
introduced to the spirit of Annabelle Higgins. The medium related the story of Annabelle to both
Donna and Angie. Annabelle was a young girl that resided on the property before the apartments
were built, they were "happy times". She was a young girl of only seven years old when her
lifeless body was found in the field upon which the apartment complex now stands.
The spirit related to the medium that she felt comfort with Donna and Angie and wanted to stay
with them and be loved. Feeling compassion for Annabell and her story Donna gave her
permission to inhibit the doll and stay with them. They were to soon find out however, that
Annabelle was not what she
appeared to be. This was no ordinary case and definitely no ordinary doll.

Lou's Account
Lou was friends with Donna and Angie and had been with them since the day the doll arrived. Lou
had never been fond of the doll and on several occasions warned Donna that it was evil and to
get rid it of it. Donna had a compassionate tie to the doll and not giving much credence to Lou's'
feelings kept it. Donnas' decision, it turns out, was a terrible mistake.
Lou awoke one night from a deep sleep and in panic. Once again he had a reoccurring bad
dream. Only this time somehow, something seemed different. It was as though he was awake but
couldn't move. He looked around the room but couldn't discern anything out of the ordinary and
then it happened. Looking down toward his feet he saw the doll, Annabelle. It began to slowly
glide up his leg, moved over his chest and then stopped. Within seconds the doll was strangling
him. Paralyzed and gasping for breath Lou, at the point of asphyxiation, blacked out. Lou awoke
the next morning, certain it wasn't a dream, Lou was determined to rid himself of that doll and the
spirit that possessed it. Lou, however, would have one more terrifying experience with Annabelle.
Preparing for a road trip the next day Lou and Angie were reading over maps alone in her
apartment. The apartment seemed eerily quiet. Suddenly, rustling sounds coming from Donnas
room aroused fear that someone had possibly broken into the apartment. Lou determined to
figure out who or what it was quietly made his way to the bedroom door. He waited for the noises
to stop before entering and turning on the light. The room was empty except for Annabelle whom
was tossed on the floor in the corner.
Lou scoured the room for forced entry but nothing was out of place. But as he got close to the doll
he got the distinct impression that somebody was behind him. Spinning around he was quick to
realize that nobody else was there. Then in flash he found himself grabbing for his chest, doubled
over, cut and bleeding. His shirt was stained with blood and upon opening his shirt there on his
chest was what looked to be 7 distinct claw marks, three vertically and four horizontally, all were
hot like burns. These scratches healed almost immediately, half gone the next day, fully gone by

day two.
Paranormal Investigation: The Warrens
Donna finally was willing to believe the spirit in the house was not that of a young girl but inhuman
and demonic in nature. After Lou's' experiences Donna felt it was time to seek real expert advice
and contacted an Episcopal priest named Father Hegan. Father Hegan felt it was a spiritual
matter and felt he needed to contact a higher authority in the church, so he contacted Father
Cooke who immediately contacted the Warrens.
Ed and Lorraine Warren immediately took interest in the case and contacted Donna concerning
the doll. The Warrens, after speaking with Donna, Angie, and Lou came to the immediate
conclusion that the doll itself was not in fact possessed but manipulated by an inhuman presence.
Spirits do not Possess inanimate objects like houses or toys, they posses people. An inhuman
spirit can attach itself to a place or object and this is what occurred in the Annabelle case. This
spirit manipulated the doll and created the illusion of it being alive in order to get recognition.
Truly, the spirit was not looking to stay attached to the doll, it was looking to posses a human
host.
The spirit or in this case an inhuman demonic spirit, was essentially in the infestation stage of the
phenomenon. It first began moving the doll around the apartment by means of teleportation to
arouse the occupants curiosity in hopes that they would give it recognition. Then predictably the
mistake of bringing a medium into the apartment to communicate with it. The inhuman spirit now
able to communicate through the medium, preyed on the girls emotional vulnerabilities by
pretending to be a rather harmless, lost young girl with which during the seance, was allowed
permission from Donna to haunt the apartment. Insofar as demonic is a negative spirit, it then set
about causing patently negative phenomena to occur; it aroused fear through the weird
movements of that doll, it brought about the materialization of disturbing handwritten notes, the
symbolic drops of blood on the doll, and ultimately it even attacked Lou leaving behind the
symbolic mark of the beast. The next stage of the infestation phenomenon would have been
complete human possession. Had these experiences lasted another 2 or 3 more weeks the spirit
would have completely possessed, if not harmed or killed one or all of the occupants in the
house.
At the conclusion of the investigation the Warrens felt it appropriate to have a recitation of an
exorcism blessing by Father Cooke to cleanse the apartment. "The Episcopal blessing of the
home is a wordy, seven page document that is distinctly positive in nature. Rather than
specifically expelling evil entities from the dwelling, the emphasis is instead directed toward filling
the home with the power of the positive and of God." (Ed Warren). At Donnas request, and as a
further precaution against the phenomena ever occurring in the home again, the Warrens took the
big rag doll along with them when they left.

The Conclusion
Father Cooke although uncomfortable with his role as an exorcist agreed to perform the seven
page rite of exorcism a doctrine he receited throughout the apartment at which point the Warrens
were confident the entity would no longer reside there. They agreed to take the rag doll back
home with them. Upon leaving Ed placed the doll in the back seat and agreed he would not take
the interstate in the event the inhuman spirit still resided with the doll.
His suspicions were all to correct in no time the Warrens felt themselves as a the object of a
vicious hatred. Then at each dangerous curve the car swerved and stalled with every corner
causing the power steering and brakes to fail. Repeatedly the car verged on collision. Ed reached
into the back seat into his black bag and took out a vial of holy water and doused the doll making
the sign of the cross over it. The disturbances stopped immediately and the Warren's arrived
safely home.

After the Warrens arrived home, Ed sat the doll in a chair next to his desk. The doll levitated a
number of times in the beginning, then it seemed to fall inert. During the ensuing weeks, however,
it began showing up in various rooms of the house. When the Warrens were away and had the
doll locked up in the outer office building, they would often return to find it sitting comfortably
upstairs in Eds easy chair when they opened the main front door. The doll also showed a hatred
for clergymen who came to the house.
In one instance FatherJason Bradford a catholic exorcist came to the house. Upon seeing the doll
seated in the chair he picked it up and said " Your just a ragdoll Annabelle, you can't hurt anyone",
and tossed the doll back in the chair at which point Ed exclaimed "That's one thing you better not
say." Upon leaving an hour later Lorraine pleaded to the priest to please be careful driving and to
call her when he arrived home. Lorraine discerned tragedy for this young priest but he had to go
his way. A few hours later Father Jason called Lorraine and explained that his brakes had failed
as he entered a busy intersection. He was a involved in a near fatal accident destroying his
vehicle. This was just one of many such events that occurred over the next few years.
The Warrens had a special case built for Annabelle inside the Occult Museum, where she resides
to this day. Since the case was built Annabelle no longer appeared to move but she is thought to
be responsible for the death of a young man who came to the museum on motorcycle with his
girlfriend. The young man after hearing Ed's account of the doll, defiantly went up and began to
bang on the case insisting that if the doll can put scratches on people then he wanted to also be
scratched, Ed said to the young man "Son you need to leave" and put him out of the building
On the way home the young man and his girlfriend were laughing and making fun of the doll
when he lost control of his motorcycle and went head on into a tree, the young man was killed
instantly but his girlfriend survived and was hospitalized for over a year. When asked what
happened the young woman explained that they were laughing about the doll when they lost
control of the motorcycle. Ed warns you do not challenge evil, that no man is more powerful than
Satan.
Life After Death-Going Towards The Light
A lot of people have asked Lorraine and I about life after death of the physical body. They ask us
if we believe there to be life after death. Does the spirit live on? The short answer to this question
is POSITIVELY YES! In fact, no one who is alive today will ever die. No one who has ever lived
has ever died! Yes, of course the physical body will become old (or diseased), withered and die.
But the essence of YOU, the SOUL or the SPIRIT or the CONSCIOUSNESS call it what you
will, will NEVER DIE!
We KNOW ghosts exist. What is a ghost but the spirit of a once living human being; or of course
a ghost COULD be something that has never walked the earth in human form.. One should never
fear death. (Of the physical body). For it is just a process of life. It is a necessary step towards our
ultimate journey to another plane of existence. You WILL see your loved ones who have passed
on. You will be re-united with friends and YES even with pets that have passed on before you.
(Any animal that had been loved by a human WILL survive the grave.) After all, what would
heaven be like without our pets? In fact I can tell you exactly what is going to happen to you at
the moment of death.
You will be lying there, family members all around you. They will be crying.while you take that
last breath, and then suddenly you will see a glowing bright light (Gods light)- now this is the
important part. GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT! And then you will be on the most incredible, most
beautiful journey you have ever experienced.

Words cannot describe the beauty and the joy you will feel! You are on your way! Now some of
you might be saying to yourselves, Hey, wait a minute. If its so great then how come there are
earthbound spirits? Why do they wander the earth if heaven is so beautiful and great? I will tell
you why. They didnt know to GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT! Perhaps they were confused. Perhaps
they were scared, yes, scared that they were being tricked. They could have done some pretty
horrible things in life, and knowing this, thought the light was a ploy- a ploy by the devil to get
them into hell! But I am here to tell you that the light is no ploy, no attempt at trickery or deceit.
The light IS GODS LIGHT. Go to it. Let it comfort and guide you. There are also earthbound
spirits who believe they have some unfinished business to attend to here on the earth plane.
Perhaps they were murdered, and the murder had gone unsolved. They wanted to see justice
done. Or perhaps they were so attached to their earthly possessions that they didnt want to leave
them. I remember a case in Waterbury, Connecticut. The spirit of an old Italian gentlemen kept
haunting the house. Above his mantle he had inscribed Mine Always Mine . And he wasnt
kidding! He didnt want to leave his earthly possessions behind. There are many reasons why
spirits remain earthbound. But now that you know about the light, there is no reason for YOU to
remain earthbound. In fact when you pass on, I know exactly what you are going to say. You are
going to say, Darned if that Ed Warren wasnt right!
~The Human Aura's & Psychic Abilities
The human aura is the supernatural glow, which emanates from every living thing. Humans have
an aura. So do animals. Your pet dog or cat emanates an aura. Although most people cant see
the aura, it exists nonetheless. Have you ever seen a religious photograph, which showed a glow
surrounding the figure? This is what the human aura looks like, only there are a variety of colors
(blues, reds, greens, yellows, etc.) generated from the aura, unlike the golden only aura usually
shown around Jesus Christ for instance.
As a psychic, clairvoyant, and light trance medium I have been endowed with special gifts, among
them the ability to see a persons aura. Each aura is unique to that particular person, much like
a fingerprint. The aura also changes quite frequently, depending on the person. For instance, if a
person is excited or depressed, or sick or angry, etc., the aura changes. The colors may change
either slightly or greatly, and the intensity may increase or decrease. What I mean by intensity is
the way the colors spike out from the body, sort of like fireworks. Some may spike out just a little,
while others may shoot out very high. To the trained psychics eye this can be used to interpret
certain emotional factors about the person. For instance I know (generally speaking) that a high
intensity red hue may indicate a person is highly excited or even angry, whereas an even (non
spiking) blue hue may indicate serenity and calmness.
As a psychic I am able to factor in what I see from ones aura as kind of an aid to the psychic
impressions I receive from an individual. (Example: My first psychic impression of an individual
may be that they are highly excitable or angry in nature; the condition of their aura would be an
added confirmation). People often ask me to explain my psychic ability. They will ask things like,
How do you discern things about people? or Can I do it? or Am I psychic? or How do you
know if a house is haunted? Perhaps my favorite question is: Do you REALLY believe there is
such a thing as ghosts? That one really insults me let me tell you.
I wouldnt have been in this type of work for over fifty years if I hadnt believed in ghosts! But to
respond to the original questions, I really DONT KNOW HOW I discern certain things. Its a part
of myself that I cant explain. Its almost as if that part of me (the psychic part) is an entirely
different person. Can I do it? Well I dont know if everyone can do it but I do know that we all
possess a certain innate amount of psychic ability. Its like that saying, Use it or lose it . If you
dont have reason to use that psychic ability or are just not in tune with it, it probably wont
develop very much. Remember Ive been in literally thousands of haunted homes and locations.
What psychic ability I had just seemed to develop naturally, almost through osmosis I guess you

could say. By being around it so much. I guess its the same as someone who goes to a foreign
country for a long period of time. They pick up the language just by being around it so much. It
just seems to come naturally. How does a person know if he or she has a greater than normal
psychic ability? I guess the best analogy I can use is this; when you are in love with someone,
you know it, no one has to tell you, right? Well its the same with psychic ability. If you have it,
you just know it. No one has to tell you.

~Guardian Angels & Spirit Guides
There has been a lot of discussion recently regarding angels and spirit guides. Every human
being has a guardian angel or Spirit Guide if you will. All one needs to do to be in touch with
ones guardian angel is to ask for their assistance in time of need. There is a difference however
between an angel and a spirit guide. An angel is not human, but a creation of God. They
have never walked the earth in human form. A spirit guide could be an angel or it could be a
human who has passed on but is now watching over you to guide you along. They could
perhaps be a relative of yours, a friend, or just someone who by the laws of attraction has
become attracted to you. Everyone has had a feeling or intuition with regard to a dangerous
situation, perhaps rounding a curve and sensing there might be a stalled vehicle up ahead or
some other impending danger. Some might call it intuition or a sixth sense, but more likely it was
your guardian angel or spirit guide warning you. In times of great difficulty or distress, call on
your guardian angel or spirit guide for assistance. They will be there for you. You need not
know who your guardian angel is by name. You need only say, Im calling on my guardian angel
for help in my time of need. They will be there for you, try it, it works!
