    An alcohol detector for vehicles is proposed to prevent accidents caused by drunk driving. The system uses an alcohol sensor to detect if the driver has consumed alcohol, and sends a signal to a microcontroller. If alcohol is detected, the microcontroller will prevent the engine from starting by not engaging the relay that controls the engine coil, thus avoiding potential accidents from an intoxicated driver operating a vehicle. The driver's alcohol level and system status will be displayed on an LCD screen.

    ALCOHOL DETECTOR FOR VEHICLE

    TO AVOID ACCIDENT
    SYNOPSIS
    Alcohol driving is very dangerous to human life. It leads to very worst
    end to every one. It must avoided and punishable. For the sake of this effect,
    we implementing the project namely Alcohol detector for vehicle to avoid
    accident by this project we can eliminate the accidents which occur by
    means of Alcohol.

    The Alcohol sensor is used to sense the alcohol status and it gives the
    signal to the micro controller based on the signal the engine (motor) will
    start or stop. To achieve this operation the relay switching is series
    connected to the engine coil, which is most important for motor run.
