What Colour is London?

If anyone asks you: What colour is London? you can answer: London is red, green and grey.
The big buses are red; the Underground trains are red. The telephone boxes are red and the pillar boxes
are red.
When the postman collects the mail from the pillar boxes are red. When the postman collects the
mail from the pillar-boxes, he drives about a little red car. He has a red stripe down each side of his
trousers.
The great parks, in the center of London, are always green and fresh. So are the little squares, with
their lawns and trees. But unfortunately, the buildings are dark and grey, and the sky is often grey and
cloudy. That is perhaps the reason why Londoners are so fond of bright colours like red.
