To provide each client with peace of mind when planning and executing each catering event, we comply with high liability
insurance requirements, have full liquor license to operate off-premise, have licensed bartenders and experienced staff; in
addition, we proudly enforce green practices in our facilities to reduce our own and our clients’ impact on the environment.
Part of our signature display includes chafing dishes to keep food warm, nice platters, and linens for your buffet table, so your
food will not only be of excellent quality, but the visual effect will create an everlasting impression. We can also assist you with
full rental services, flowers, design and décor, entertainment, venue search, and staffing.

hours/days of operation:
operation: office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Cut-off time for standard next day orders is
4:00pm, (please note that orders received after 4:00pm for next day will incur in a $10.00 last minute ordering fee). Deliveries before 7:00
am or after 5:30pm are available for a fee. We recommend all catering be booked 48 hours in advance to ensure your requests are met.
delivery window:
window: half an hour window is needed for all catering orders; however, parties larger than 50 people or including rentals will
require a wider window. An exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed due to traffic and other unforeseen conditions. Please be conscious
with our drivers, and keep in mind they have a tight schedule to complete; any distraction will imply a delay in the next delivery. If the
driver arrives within the requested window and the location is not ready for set up, we cannot guarantee the driver will be able to wait until
it is available.

fees during business days/hours are as follows: Redwood Shores, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, Palo Alto,

Mountain View, Atherton area $20.00, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and Los Gatos $20.00, San Jose $30.00, Greater South Bay
$60.00. Such fees apply to standard deliveries only. For larger or upscale set ups, or set ups that require rentals or servers, a service
charge applies.

after-hour delivery charges: deliveries or pick ups before 7:00am and after 5:30pm will be at an extra fee and will require a cell phone for
a contact person. As a general guidance, any delivery or pick up after such hours will come at an extra charge, equal to $25.00/hr for the

late orders: we understand that sometimes last minute bookings may occur. If we are able to fill your order, you will be limited to what we
have available. There will be a $10.00 late delivery fee added to your invoice. We call last minute order to any order received after
4:00pm for next day delivery (our prep lists are sent out to our catering kitchen at 4:00pm; therefore, any order received after that will be
considered last minute) or orders place on the same day.
substitutions: we reserve the right to make substitutions when necessary. Prices are subject to change without notice.

service charge: delivery fee is replaced by a service charge to any party larger than 50 and/or requiring rentals, servers, theme event, bar
service.
minimum: the minimum to order is of 10 orders per kind, unless items are marked with a 20 or 50 orders minimum.
delivery minimum:
weekend orders: by appointment only, and must meet a minimum of $400.00 to be processed, unless there's another catering request at
similar timeframe and your request can be accommodated. Weekend delivery fees are not the same as weekday delivery fees (e.g.: Palo
Alto weekend delivery is $50.00).
cancellations: we manufacture to order. Cancellations of regular orders are welcome up to one business day before the event, unless the
items requested are already in production, or if it involves rentals or items that have already been ordered or purchased.
payment: we accept Visa, Master Card, AmEx cards and checks (10 days net). 2% late payment fee applies after 30 days.
confirmations: please review that everything in your order is accurate, then sign and fax or email back your confirmation. Unconfirmed

What’s The Sips Bar Service?

J&V Catering, Peninsula Catering’s sister company, is one of the few catering companies with full liquor
license to operate off-
off-site.
site In addition to liquor license, we have liability insurance with a 3 million dollars
combined umbrella, meeting the highest requirements by building managers in San Francisco and Bay
Area.

How Does it Operate?

When you request the bar service, please specify what package you’d like to offer your guests. The amount charged is on a per person basis
in accordance with the last headcount confirmation or the actual attendance if higher. The bar service is offered on a minimum of three (3)
hours, starting at the time of the set up, during which the guests can consume as much as they please. Please note that all remnants belong
to J&V Catering (if you’d like to pre-purchase by the bottle, please specify so in advance).

Before your active hours expire, the bartender shall notify the contact person as to whether he/she would like to pay extra hour(s) to keep
bar open or if the bartender(s) can start the break down as scheduled.

Are There Other Requirements?

Aside from the three (3) hour minimum to operate, we require at least one (1) bartender to run the bar, and a server to assist him. Bartenders
and servers are charged on a four (4) hour minimum, starting at delivery time. Prices for bartenders will vary (depending on whether the
bartender will need to provide glassware or not).

Our prices are quite reasonable, and you’ll have the convenience of serving a myriad of beverages without the risk of buying too much or too
