INFORMATION
The undersigned accuses MARIA BARRETA TANGCAO of the crime of QUALIFIED
THEFT, committed as follows:
That on or about May 9, 2016, in the City of Manila, Philippines, the said accused,
with intent to gain and without knowledge and consent of the owners did then and
there wilfully, unlawfully and feloniously take, steal and carry away the following
items to wit:
From:
Cash money amounting to Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P500,000.00)
One piece gold necklace worth Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00)
One set of earrings worth Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000.00)
One piece gold ring worth Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00)
From
One unit Acer Laptop worth Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00)
One unit Tablet worth Eight Thousand Pesos (P8,000.00)
One unit Samsung S6 Edge worth Forty Five Thousand Pesos (P45,000.00)
Or in a total of Six Hundred Two Thousand Pesos (P602,000.00) belonging to
Spouses JUAN CARRIEDO DE JOSE and ANNIE SOBRE BATUNGBACAL to the damage
and prejudice to said owners in the aforesaid amount of Six Hundred Two Thousand
Pesos (P602,0000.00), Philippine Currency.
That said accused acted with grave abuse of confidence in commission of said
offense, she being then a housemaid of said complainants at that time, and such
had free access to the stolen items.
