Planetary causes for ADHD

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Mainly this is a brain
disorder. The brain is an organ inside the head that controls thought, memory, feelings,
and activity and it is the main controlling system of a creature.
Attention means act of attending, Notice, Care, Courtesy etc. Attention deficit
or Inattention is lack of persistence, ignore or disregard due to disorganized mentality,
but not due to defiance or lack of comprehension. In other words, it is called Absent
Minded, which comes under MIND. Overlook, carelessness, forgetfulness, poor in
listening, fail to follow instructions are some of the symptoms of inattention due to
confusion of mind or flightiness
Hyperactivity means over or above the normal condition of one's process of doing
something or a deed or a thing done. In other words it is Over Activity, a physic
condition pertaining to the MIND. Persons with this abnormal seem to move about
constantly, including in situations in which it is not appropriate; or excessively fidgets, taps, or
talks.
Mental traits are largely rule over by Neptune. Neptune is said to be enhance
these powers in its owned sign Pisces owned by Jupiter. The physic constitution and
vitality with physically benefits are under the rule of Uranus. Hyperactivity is caused by
the affliction of Neptune (Nervous system, Brain & Motor Nervous) or Uranus
(Nervous system, Cerebral-spinal fluid, Physic ability, mental disturbances,
derangement of brain, Insanity). If Neptune is afflicted or opposite to Mercury tends to
absent minded. Also confusion of mind indicates when Mercury is in a sign of Jupiter
(Sagittarius or Pisces) or Mercury afflicted by Jupiter or Neptune.
Since the principle organ of the human body related to this disease is Mind, in
examining this through the planets, the points to ponder can be listed as below.
1. This is a disease. Hence the 6th cusp should be scrutinized.

2. The planet Mercury is the principle ruler of the mind and the brain. If afflicted,
Mercury tends to disturbances of the Mind, Brain & Nerves disorders.
3. Although Mercury is the ruler of mind, Mercury alone cannot do any obstructions
to the mind, since mind is intangible and the brain, controlling organ of the mind
must be afflicted by its rulers. Jupiter is the planet for Congestion or abnormal
accumulation of the brain.
4. The degree on the Ascendant strongly rules and influences the mind. The brain
substance is ruled by the Moon and Mercury. The relation between these three
bodies at birth, determine the mentality.
5. The 3rd and 9th houses are the houses of mind and malefics in these houses
tend to disturb and unbalance the mind.
6. The outer planets Neptune rules Cerebral Ventricles while Uranus rules brain
coverings, the Dura Mater.
As a trial to look for a planetary combination, in accordance with the Sub Lord
Theory propounded by Sri KSK ji, for this mind disease, I have selected 12 natal charts
of natives who were found to be affected with ADHD and analyzed the above said
pointers.
Also please note, to avoid the using of more room in the magazine, only three
charts have been discussed here in lengthy and a table of summary of analyzing of all
charts is attached herewith, which are based on the system of analyzing those three
charts using KPAstro 4.1

Chart 01

1. 6th Sub lord is Mercury+ in 9 (Badhaka), in conjunction with Lagna Lord Sun, in
the star of Venus Lord of 10, in 9 (Badhaka) and in the sub of Moon, the lord of 12
in 7 (Maraka). Moon is in the star of Mars (Mental aberrations) in 9 (Badhaka),
in its owned sign Aries (Head) and in the sub of Kethu in 6 (diseases), a
significator of 7, 6, 12. Kethu represents Jupiter and Saturn. Jupiter(Cerebral
Congestion) signifies 2 (Maraka), 9 (Badhaka) and Saturn (Lingering
diseases/Insanity/Chronicity of a disease) signifies 2 & 7 (Maraka houses), 6
(Diseases), 8 (Terminal/Physic ability/Chronic Illnesses/Danger to Life), 12
(Terminal/ Untreatable). Mercury is the sub lord for this 12th house.
2. As above Mercury+ the principle ruler of the mind is afflicted.
3. Relation of Moon, Mercury and Ascendant : Moon being the lord of 12 in 7
(Maraka), is the Lagna Sub lord. Also Moon is the sub lord for Mercury. Lagna
lord Sun is conjoined with Mercury in the 9th cusp (Badhaka), resulting afflicted
mentality.
4. House 3 is under the rule of Mercury, Mars and Saturn. It is occupied by none. As
discussed above sign lord Mercury is afflicted. Star lord Mars is the lord of
Badhaka, while Sub lord Saturn is holding the lord ship of 6 (Disease), 7
(Maraka) & 8 (Terminal/Physic ability/Chronic Illnesses/Danger to Life). Saturn
is in the star and sub of Moon, the lord of 12 in 6 and Saturn is in Virgo, where
the 3rd cusp is.
House 9 is the Badhakasthana of this chart in the sign of Aries (Head). The owner
of the same is Mars and deposited in the same sign and cusp. Star lord of 9 is
Mercury and sub lord is Saturn as described above. In addition to Mars,the 9th
cusp is occupied by Sun, Mercury and Venus. The Sun is the lord of Ascendant
and 2 (Maraka), is also the sub lord of 8th cusp. Naughty Mercury is
omnipresent. Venus is the lord of 10 (Health & Diseases) and sub of 7 (Maraka)
Thus ruling houses of Mind, 3 and 9 are severely afflicted by malefic resulting the
unbalance of the mind.
5. Uranus is in the 4th house, Scorpio owned by Badhakasthanadpathi Mars and
in the star and sub of Saturn for 2, 6, 7, 8 & 12. Uranus is aspected by Moon
(7,12), Mars (9) and Saturn (2, 6, 7, 8 & 12). Uranus aspects 10th cusp.
Neptune too is in the 4th house, Sagittarius in the star of Kethu in 6 (Disease)
and in the sub of Venus for 10, 9 that is the star lord of Mercuty. Neptune aspects
11th cusp owned by Mercury
Chart 02
1. 6th Cusp of this chart is under the rule of Saturn, Jupiter and Venus. Sub lord
Venus, lord of 2 (Maraka) & 9 (Mind), in 4 is in the star of Sun and in the sub of

Jupiter. Sun is the lord of 12 and posited in 2 (Maraka) in association with Saturn
the lord of 6. Sub Jupiter the lord of 4 and 7, is in the Lagna cusp, Libra sign
owned by Venus. Kethu in Venus star, is in the 7th (Maraka), in the sign Aries
(Head). 6th cusp is occupied by Moon the lord of 11 and also sub of 12th cusp.
Moon is in the star of Saturn the lord of 6 (Disease) & 5 (Mind & Intelligence) and
in the sub of Venus 6th Sub lord.
2. Mercury is the lord of Lagna and 10 (Health & Diseases) is located in 3 (Mind). It
is in the star of Kethu and in the sub of Mars. As said above Kethu is in 7
(Maraka), Aries (Head) and connected with Mars, the sub of Mercury. Mars, the
lord of 8 (Terminal/Physic ability/Chronic Illnesses/Danger to Life) and 3
(Mind) is in the star of Jupiter (4,7) and in the sub of Saturn.
3. Relation of Moon, Mercury and Ascendant: Lagna cusp is under the rule of
Mercury, Mars and Rahu. Both Mercury and Mars are already discussed above.
Sub lord Rahu in Lagna cusp is in its own star and in the sub of Venus the 6th
Sub lord. Rahu represents Mars, Jupiter and Venus. All these co-rulers are
malefic in this chart. The Moon in 6 is in the star of Saturn and in the sub of
Venus. Star lord Saturn, the lord of 6 (Diseae) & 5 (Mind) in 2 (Maraka) is
connected with Lagna. Moon is opposite to Lagna cusp. Thus the relation of
Lagna, Mercury and Moon are found to be afflicted for the mentality.
4. House 3 is under the rule of Mars, Mercury and Mars. As discussed above these
lords are in inauspicious state in this chart.
House 9 is under the co-rulers of Mars, Mercury and Mars. The sign and sub lord
Mars in 2 (Maraka) is in the star of Jupiter, lord of 4 & 7 (Maraka) in Lagna and
in the sub of Saturn lord of 5 (Minad) and 6 (Disease) in 3 (Mind). Accordingly
houses 3 and 9 are badly afflicted with malefic.
5. Uranus posited in the 10th cusp (Health & Diseases) in the sign Cancer is in
the star and sub of Mercury. Uranus is aspected by disease indicator Venus.
Uranus in Cancer causes attuned to physic vibration and nerves indigestion and
when Uranus is in 10th, make the native eccentric with to and fro moment losing
a fixed mentality and with sudden changes.
Neptune in Lagna cusp is in the star of Rahu that is the lagna sub and also 7
(Maraka) sub. It is in the sub of Saturn the lord of 5 (Mind) and 6 (Disease) in 2
(Maraka). Neptune aspects 8th cusp Aries (Head).
Chart 03
1. Ruling planets of the 6th cusp of this chart are Saturn, Mars and Venus as sign
lord, star lord and sub lord respectively. Sign lord Saturn is the lord of 5 (Mind) &
6 (Disease) in 7 (Maraka & Badhaka) in conjunction with Venus, the sub of the

6th. Star lord Mars+ (Head/Brain) is the lord of 9 (Mind) and 4 in 2 (Maraka).
Sub lord Venus is the lord of 3 (Mind) and 10, tenanted in the 7th (M & B) and
opposite to 1 & 2. It is in the star of Jupiter, the lord of 7 & 8 in 10. Sub lord of
Venus is Rahu that is the sub of Lagna in 8, in Aries (Head & Brain).

Mercury+ in this chart is the lord of Lagan and 2 (Maraka) is located in the 6
cusp (Disease). It is in the star of Jupiter and in own sub. Star Jupiter is the lord
of 7 (M&B) and 8 (Chronic) in 10. Mercury+ aspects 10 (Health 7 disease), 12
(Terminal) 1 and 2 (Maraka). Thus Mercury has become as a most harmful
indicator in the chart.

3. Relation of Moon, Mercury and Ascendant: Moon the lord of 11, in 10. It is
Gemini sign owned by Lord of Ascendant Mercury in the 6th. Moon is in the star
and sub of Jupiter. It is the lord of 7 & 8 and tenanted in the 10th cusp. This
Moon is the Sub lord for 7 (Maraka) and 12 (Terminal). Lagna Star lord Sun,
being the lord of 12 deposited in the 6th (Disease) associating Mercury. Lagna
sub Rahu is in the 8th, representing Mars. Mars is the lord of 4 and 9 (Mind) in 2
(Maraka). This relationship determines the ill-mentality.
4. Lord of House 3 Venus, also having the lordship of 10 is in the 7th (M & B), in
conjunction with Saturn the lord 5 & 6. Also Venus is the sub of 6 (Disease). It is
in the star of Jupiter and in the sub of Rahu. Star lord Jupiter in 10 is the lord of 7
& 8. Sub Lord Rahu is in 8, in the star of above said Venus. The sub of Rahu is
Moon in 10 with the lordship of 11.
The 9th cusp is under the rule of Mars, Venus and Saturn. Sign lord Mars is in 2
(Maraka). Star Lord is Venus as described above under house 3. Sub Lord Saturn
is the lord of 5 & 6 in 7 in conjunction with Venus. Saturn is in its own star and

also being the star lord of Ascendant, tenanting in the 6th (Disease). Sub of
Uranus is Rahu in 8, that is the Lagna sub lord. Sun and Mercury in 6 are
opposite to Uranus.
Neptune is tenanted in the 3rd cusp (Mind), Scorpio sign in the star of Jupiter the
lord of 7 & 8 in 10. Sub of Neptune is Mars lord of 4 & 9 in 2 (Maraka). It is in the
