GRADES 4 and 10 MASS TRAINING OF TEACHERS (MTOT)

1.

To ensure the effective implementation of K to 12 Basic Education Program, the

Department of Education (DepEd-Schools Division of Bataan) through the Bureau of
Elementary Education (BEE) and the Bureau of Secondary Education, and in
coordination with the Regional Office (RO III) and Colegio de San Juan de LetranTeacher Education Institution(TEI), shall conduct the Grades 4 and 10 Mass Training of
Teachers (MTOT) on May 4-10 (live-out) and May 11-23 (live-in) for two (2) batches,
respectively.

2.

The MTOT intends to provide teachers with concrete understanding of the

curriculum frameworks, learning standards and competencies, teaching plans and
assessment. The participants in the activity are the grades 4 and 10 identified and
submitted by the School heads. They are required to be in the designated pick-up area
at 7:00 AM to attend the Opening Program at 8:00 AM. Likewise, Grade 10 trainees are
required to bring laptop and extension cord.

3.

Travel expenses of teachers, trainers and management staff shall be charged to

local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5.

Participants, trainers, and management staff in the MTOT shall be entitled to

service credits in accordance with the provisions of DepEd Order No. 19, s. 2011 and
DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003. On the other hand, non-teaching staff shall be provided
with Compensatory Time-Off (CTO) per CSC and DBM Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2004.

6.

Immediate dissemination and compliance of this Memorandum is desired.
