Project Description

There is an increase in consumption of fossil fuels by major countries around the world which
is damaging the ozone layer, and leaving a large carbon footprint. My idea is that we
generate energy, in the form of electricity, using Piezoelectric tiles, which would generate
direct energy as an object is placed, or rolled over it. These tiles could be placed on busy
roads and highways, under the speed breakers. As a vehicle rolls over the speed breaker the
tiles will produce piezoelectricity which can be collected at power stations that will placed
along the roadside.
The electricity harnessed can be used to power offices, residences and even street lights.

My innovation is a NIGHT LAMP POWERED BY SOLAR ENERGY. The conventional night lamps
waste energy- they are on for 8-9 hours while we are in a deep sleep. As an environment
friendly substitute to the conventional electric night lamps, this solar night lamp ticks all the
boxes- it's green, it's pretty and it's intelligent! It is a pretty simple idea but it can save
energy consumption substantially and benefit the environment if used by lots of people. At
this time when our planet is threatened by serious environmental concerns, every little effort
made by every individual will count.
Environmental Sustainability is the need of the hour for a clean and green future for our
planet. Majority of families producing trash do not have a clue where to deposit it for
recycling. Volunteers collecting recyclables waste their valuable time and effort knocking on
unanswered doors.
RecycleHub is an eco-online platform for a Community Driven Home Collection Service for
Recyclable Materials bringing together the households and the volunteers. Households will
become recyclers, Volunteers shall know collection details and Environmental organizations
shall communicate with the most receptive stakeholders with tangible results thereby
positively impacting over a billion lives.

Food wastage is one of the biggest problems the world is facing right now. When wasted food
rots in a landfill, it produces a gas called methane which is a very powerful greenhouse gas.
If we utilize this methane by capturing it from landfills, it can be burnt to produce electricity.
Capturing methane before it gets into the atmosphere also helps reduce the effects of
climate change. So the basic idea is to collect the discarded food in a sealed reservoir with
an outlet connecting it to a power plant. Its a WIN-WIN situation. Producing energy AND
protecting the environment!!

The right to education is an imperative need of every child. Children living in poor families,
disruptive neighborhoods and war zones do not have access to education. BookLink is a
web and mobile based platform focusing on Collection of Used School Books to pass them
onto schools, libraries and organisations working to bridge the gap between books and
underprivileged children. The indirect impact of this initiative shall be Environmental
Conservation through saving trees and reducing landfills. The simple act of donating books
will ensure a better future for individuals along with a greener planet thereby positively
impacting billions of lives.

Project Description

Our project called "Rotom-Drive" is a remote

controlled non-lethal weaponized drone which can
tackle security problems and breaches with
extreme efficiency without risking physical harm.
The drones are extremely efficient, agile and are
optimized in size to commute easily through small
spaces.
The product was designed to ensure security and
combine a non lethal element called
trichloromethane to form a non lethal weaponized
drone.
The greater impact of "Rotom-Drive" can be
foreseen easily as security being a significant part
of not only industrial, but also social, economic
and political coalesce will come in hands with 21st
Century technology.

The project is a lock which will be attached to your

tap/main pipe. It measures the amount of water
flowing through it and locks once it reaches to the
point set by the user. It is made to help reduce the
amount of water people use by reducing the
amount of water that flows through the tap with
the help of a sensor. As a result it will help
conserve water, and bring a more efficient use of
resources. Water is scarce and the aim of this
project is to help conserve it. The saved water
then will be helpful to people who lack access to
clean water. It is beneficial not only to the
environment but also to the user as it will help
reducing the water bills as well as bring a sense of
fulfillment towards the environment.
