pigment concentrates, specially developed for organic and inorganic pigment dispersion.

APPLICATION

SYNTHRO -PON S 624 is a polymeric dispersant particularly recommended for the dispersion of
organic and inorganic pigments in solventborne coatings. Recommended to be used in the millbase, the

specific chemistry of SYNTHRO -PON S 624 improves considerably the pigment dispersion and
prevents the flocculation of the stabilised particles, this result in:
- Gloss improvement
- Higher pigment load
- Colour strength improvement

- Rheological behaviour improvement

- Flocculation stability due to steric hindrance
- Anti-flooding behaviour

Because of its specific polymeric structure, it has a wide compatibility with grinding resins, which allows
to be used in various systems such as Industrial Coating and especially Coil Coatings. Its acidic nature

allow SYNTHRO -PON S 624 to be the best choice in acid catalyzed polyester / melamine systems.

Pigment Concentrates based on SYNTHRO -PON S 624 could be easily together mixed to offer the
required high performance color.
METHOD OF USE AND RECOMMENDED LEVELS

SYNTHRO -PON S 624 has to be used at the grinding step, first carefully homogenised with the
grinding resin and the solvent prior to the pigment incorporation before proceeding the grind. The
optimal dosage should be achieved after some laboratory tests in the customer specific binder.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

SYNTHRO -PON S 624 should be stored in a cool dry place. In original unopened container it will keep
3 year stability.
PACKAGING

SYNTHRO -PON S 624 is delivered in 25 kg or 185 kg drums.
