Review of Related literature Local Studies

This chapter presents the related literature and studies after the through and in depth search
done by the researchers. This will also present the importance of technology and its importance. In
less than a generation, computer technology has revolunized business all over the world. This has
brought about changes in the area of business, government, education, agriculture, education, health
sports and even on our personal lives. Today, computers do much of the works. The wide spread
development of digital technology also results to parallel advance in software, which allows this
technology to be used by persons other than computer experts. The database has become a central
organized framework for information system. The central component of information system, the
database may be distributed over a number of processor in different geographic locations, yet queries
can processed simultaneously against the composite database. This has brought about changes in our
life.

According to Primer (2005), for many businesses automating the collecting-of employee
attendance data when employees begin their shifts is still a manual process. Even business that
has automated or computerized processes such as scheduling, inventory, purchasing, general
ledger and payroll processing still use manual methods such as time cards or attendance sheets to
collect time and attendance data. Nova time (2007), the system that will give management the
