IO & Media Management MATRIX Compositing is designed to provide maximum flexibility
when it comes to ingesting, managing and outputting material
from many different sources. Whether you are ingesting high-
resolution scans from a flim scanner or capturing video from an
HD or SD tape recorder or telecine, MATRIX Compositing supports
IO with a wide range of devices through SDI (including HSDL) or
network-based interfaces.

Editing The latest addition to MATRIX Compositing is the Edit module - a full-featured editing interface that enables editors to work on full-
resolution HD and 2K material. All material, independent of resolution, bitdepth or frame-rate can be inserted into compositions that
provide multiple layers of video and audio tracks. Material can be captured, stored in MATRIX Compositing and conformed to external
CMX3600, AAF and OMF files. This creates an integrated, tapeless workflow giving users access to not only editing functions but a wide
range of tools such as transformations, color corrections, etc.
