HONORIUS TO HH THE DALAI LAMA

Your Holiness, you describe yourself as a simple Buddhist monk. Nothing could
be more humble.

Over the period of years, you earned the knowledge through study and practice and
were selected to be the Buddhist leader for the entire Tibetan community and the
world at large. You are an incomparable master for todays world!

You have revealed the scientific character of much of Buddhist teaching and
suggested that Buddhist science and philosophy should be accessible to all. This is
a new approach to Buddhism. You are committed to spread secular ethics and
bring a culture of peace and non-violence.

Your Holiness, Nashik, a beautiful and ancient city with history of various cultures
and religions, a city who has welcomed thinkers, teachers and social reformers
with equal warmth, feel privileged today to have you amidst us and listen to your
views on secular ethics when ethics itself has been questioned.

We feel honored to present this Honorius to Your Holiness on this day of 3rd
January 2015 and pray for your good health and longevity so that the world
becomes a better place for all the future generations.
