Assessment (of/for/as):
Of: As this is the first lesson of the unit, there are no assessments Of learning at this
point in time.
For: Students will demonstrate their previous understanding on the topic of metabolism
through the use of the classroom poll, as well as through the answers on their exit
tickets. This gives the teacher feed back as to their classrooms current standing on the
subject matter and allow for further lesson modifications to better suit the needs of the
current classroom.
As: The exit ticket will allow for self reflection within the student on their own abilities
and current understanding of the subject matter.
