I was excited to see that you are seeking an applicant for an internship at Delaware Investments in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I believe that my leadership skills and experience makes me the perfect
candidate for this position.
Being an ROTC cadet while attending Temple University has taught me how to be an effective
leader. While being a cadet, I had to manage and lead groups of people; including my own group
of up to 25 underclassmen cadets. I had to set an example for the people I managed, as well as
lead them through their daily responsibilities.
In addition to bringing my leadership qualities, I believe I can also bring my experience to
Delaware Investments. While being an intern at Mutual Security Credit Union headquarters, I had
to work as a team member with my colleagues and communicate with different associates such as
the IT department to complete various tasks. My daily tasks included the compiling of data in
their data system and assisting associates within the credit union. I believe my experience at
Mutual Security would effectively transfer over to Delaware Investments because I will be able to
work as a member of a team to accomplish any task.
I am confident that my experience, and leadership qualities would make me a great candidate for
