Building protects us from nature forces like rain, heat, cold, wind etc., The concrete
structures on its own is porous and hence not watertight. The unprotected structures
suffer from water induced damage including deterioration and corrosion caused by
chlorination, oxidation and sulphation. They reduce alkalinity in concrete and turns
acidic. The result, reinforcement bar catch rust and eventually expands, to drastically
hamper load bearing capacity of the building structures. The continuous presence of

need of Building & Construction industry to protect from water ingress or loss of water
through structures. The complete building structures from basement to roof are protected
from rising dampness, moisture, seepages and leakages from basement to roof. The
technology ranges to acrylic SBR latex, crystalline, epoxy, water repellant polysiloxanes,
polyurethane and bituminous based formulations. The coating fills and seals concrete
pores, micro cracks and capillary tracts in joints, walls and floors through which water seep
through and forms an integral waterproofing compound without breaking the existing

MonoProof LWP
Latex Modi!ed Waterproo!ng
MonoProof LWP is a two component acrylic modi!ed elastomeric waterproo!ng which consists of specialty
hard-wearing aggregates and liquid acrylic emulsion. It is a seamless, waterproof coating providing a tough and
durable water tight coating which cannot be easily damaged or worn away. The coating is designed to re-face and even
out variations in concrete and masonry surfaces.This is an easily brushable coating which can be simply applied by a stiff
brush, or trowel to obtain the desired thickness. The polymer provides with exceptional adhesion, toughness and
durability. MonoProof LWP effectively seals concrete masonry walls and bridges the shrinkage cracks which are static.
The coating additionally protects against concrete decay providing a long lasting barrier to waterborne corrosive salts,
freeze-thaw scaling, chloride, carbonation and atmospheric gases. A 1mm coating provides anti carbonation cover
equivalent to over 80cm of concrete or air layer thickness for carbon dioxide diffusion (R) of 92 meters. MonoProof LWP is
shown to resist positive hydrostatic pressure up to 7 meter head.

MonoProof AEW
High Performance acrylic polymer modi!ed elastomeric waterproo!ng
MonoProof AEW is a three-layer system with coats in different colors ensuring proper build-up of the
thickness, making it a reliable waterproo!ng system. MonoProof AEW is a two component acrylic modi!ed elastomeric
waterproo!ng which consists of specialty hard-wearing aggregates and liquid acrylic emulsion. It is a seamless,

has excellent "exibility, breathing properties, water resistance, crack-bridging ability, weathering durability and
an excellent resistance to the growth of micro organisms.

MonoProof CONC
High Performance Cementitious Crystalline Concrete Waterproo!ng
MonoProof Conc is a unique chemical treatment for the waterproo!ng, protection and repair of concrete.
MonoProof Conc is the most chemically active product within the MonoProof Crystalline Waterproo!ng System. When
mix with water, this light grey powder is applied as a cementitious slurry coat to above-grade or below-grade concrete,
either as a single coat or as the !rst of a two-coat application. It is also mixed in Dry-Pac form for sealing strips at
construction joints, or for the repairing of cracks, faulty construction joints and honeycombs. MonoProof Conc prevents
the penetration of water and other liquids from any direction by causing a catalytic reaction that produces a non-
soluble crystalline formation within the pores and capillary tracts of concrete and cement-based materials. When
MonoProof Crystalline Waterproo!ng is applied to a concrete surface the active chemicals combine with the free lime
and moisture present in the capillary tract, to form insoluble crystalline complexes. These crystals block the capillaries
and minor shrinkage cracks in the concrete to prevent any further water ingress (even under pressure). However, the
MonoProof Crystalline Waterproo!ng layer will still allow the passage of water vapor through the structure (i.e. the
concrete will still be able to "breathe"). In addition to waterproo!ng the structure, MonoProof Crystalline Waterproo!ng
protects concrete against sea water, waste water, aggressive ground water and certain chemical solutions.

MonoProof MD
Cementitious Crystalline Concrete Waterproo!ng
MonoProof MD is a surface applied, unique chemical treatment for the waterproo!ng, protection and repair
of concrete. It consists of grey Portland cement, specially treated quartz sand and !llers, and a compound of active
chemicals. MonoProof MD can be applied as a second coat to reinforce MonoProof Conc, or applied by itself to damp-
proof the exterior of foundation walls. Applied as a second coat, MonoProof MD chemically reinforces MonoProof Conc
where two coats are required and produces a harder !nish. Where damp-proo!ng is required, a single coat of
MonoProof MD may be used as an alternative to a spray/tar emulsion. MonoProof MD prevents the penetration of water
and other liquids from any direction by causing a catalytic reaction that produces a non-soluble crystalline formation
within the pores and capillary tracts of concrete and cement-based materials. MonoProof MD is a particularly suitable
slurry for !lling air bubbles and voids in weak and porous surfaces.
 Epoxy Based Food grade waterproofing system

Food Grade Lining & Waterproo!ng
MonoProof FWP is 2 pack, solvent free epoxy material used for lining and Water proo!ng potable water
retaining structures and surfaces subject to contact with food stuffs. The material cures to provide a smooth, hygienic
and tough !nish which is suitable for contact with potable water and foodstuffs. The cured !lm is resistant to corrosion,
chemical attack and abrasion. The cured !lm is non-toxic and meets the requirements of IS: 9833 - 1981. The coating is
designed to be applied in two coats to achieve a minimum total dry !lm thickness of 200 microns.

MonoProof DG
Dampproof Coating
MonoProof DG is used as internal coating for the waterproo!ng treatments of water tanks and building walls
because it can be applied over damp surfaces, has excellent water resistance, adhesion, hardness & toughness and sets
faster similar to solvent based epoxy formulations. It has an advantage of dilution with water for application over
cementitious surfaces.

Solvent Based Water Repellent Coating
MonoProof SSP, is a clear, breathable, solvent-based, siloxane/silane penetrating water-repellent sealer used
to provide water repellent surface with improved self-cleaning properties on exterior building - brick work, concrete,
cement rendering, natural or cast stone. Helps in reducing efflorescence due to soluble salts in brickwork. The coating is
colorless and preserves natural color and texture of created material. It penetrates into concrete for a minimum depth of
penetration of 5mm ensuring hydrophobic zone.
Permeability is low to water, salt solution, dust and soot particles. Leaching of soluble salts from brick work,
which causes efflorescence, absorption of deicing salts by concrete which causes degradation and absorption of
atmospheric dirt by brickwork, concrete and stone are all minimized.
 Polyurethane based waterproofing system and support products

MonoProof PWP
Two Component (2K) Polyurethane based Waterproo!ng Coatings.
MonoProof PWP two component, aliphatic, thixotropic, non-yellowing, non-chalking, pigmented
polyurethane based elastomeric waterproof coating possessing good resistance to long term exposure of UV rays and
provides an easily cleaned coating. The cured !lm shall be protected with concrete screed / mortar when used on
accessible roofs to avoid damage from foot traffic.

MonoProof WPU
Water Based Poly urethane Water Proo!ng Coatings
MonoProof WPU is a "exible, single component aliphatic liquid membrane. It cures to a permanently "exible
seamless membrane that has good adhesion to a wide range of substrates unlike more traditional bitumen based
products. The coating is crack-bridging, does not readily embrittle with age, exposure to ultra violet radiation or
weathering, and hence it does not crack or craze due to its "exible properties. It is elastomeric and hence not adversely
affected by extremes of temperature.

Bituminous based waterproofing system

MonoProof BWP
Bituminous Water proo!ng Coating For Sandwich constructions
MonoProof BWP is a ready mixed coating, brush applied bituminous, black, lead- free, acid, alkali, water and
chloride resistant that cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a tough but "exible waterproo!ng
membrane.They also meet the requirements for coatings suitable for use on surfaces in contact with potable water.
MonoProof BWP are based on raw materials which are amongst the most water and water-vapor resistant
surface coating materials available. They are also resistant to a wide range of chemical attack. Also to protect the
concrete against effects of chlorinated water, and to inhibit algae growth and facilitate easier cleaning. The excellent
chemical resistance of MonoProof BWP makes it particularly suitable for sub-structure applications in areas where
chemical contaminants and aggressive ground water conditions prevail.

Note : In common with all bituminous and tar based coatings, and many other organic materials, MonoProof
BWP are susceptible to prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and are not recommended for use in situations where
they will be exposed to direct daylight. They are however, ideally suited for use in sandwich constructions, or as surface
coatings in enclosed tanks or structures, or below ground, where their durability is well proven.
