GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Admit Card for the candidates has already been sent by Speed Post. If any candidate has not received
the Admit Card by Speed Post before 03.12.2016, he/she may contact through our e-mail id:
career@iprc.gov.in.

The Candidates are being called for the Written Test on the basis of the details furnished in the online
application. In case any candidate fails to substantiate the particulars furnished in the online application,
his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

Candidates should bring the Admit Card which is sent by Speed Post, with a recent passport size
photograph duly affixed in the area provided. However the signature shall be made by the candidate
only in the presence of the Invigilator in the Examination Hall. The candidate will not be allowed to
write the Examination without the Admit Card.

The duration of Written Test will be 90 minutes as detailed above. However the candidates should report at
the venue one hour before commencement of the Written Test as per the Reporting Time detailed above.
Candidates would not be admitted to the Examination hall after half-an-hour of the commencement
of the Written Test.

Candidates alone will be permitted inside the exam venue.

Candidates are not permitted to use Electronic gadgets viz. Calculators, Mobile Phones, Pendrives,
CD/DVDs, Cameras, Tablets, PCs, Laptops etc. or any other Reference Books/Materials inside the
Examination Hall. Candidates found using or attempt to use any unfair means shall be summarily
disqualified.

Candidates must abide by the instructions given by the Invigilator.

The Written Test will be of objective type with four options indicated against each question, of which only one
will be the right answer. The candidate has to indicate his/her option legibly in the OMR Answer sheet.

Each question carries 03 marks for correct answer. One third negative mark will apply for each
wrong answer.

Candidates should carefully go through the instructions in the Question Booklet before answering.

Use BALL POINT PEN OF BLUE / BLACK INK for marking answers in the OMR Answer Sheet.
Rough work, if any, shall be done on the area provided in the Question Booklet.

The Candidates should handover Admit Card & OMR Answer Sheet to the Invigilator, before leaving
the Examination Hall.

No candidate shall leave the Examination Hall without prior permission of the Invigilator. Candidates shall be
permitted to leave the Examination hall only after one hour of the commencement of the Examination.

No Travelling Allowance will be paid to the candidates attending the Written Test.

The Time, Date and Venue of the Examination shall not be changed for any reasons.

No interim correspondences shall be entertained. Any urgent queries can be sent to career@iprc.gov.in

THE PHYSICAL ENDURANCE TEST AND PRACTICAL TEST IN CASE OF FIREMAN A AND
DRIVER-CUM-OPERATOR A FOR THOSE CANDIDATES WHO ARE SHORTLISTED FROM

THE WRITTEN TEST WILL BE HELD DURING 3 WEEK OF DECEMBER 2016. HOWEVER
SEPARATE INTIMATION WILL BE SENT THROUGH POST AND E-MAIL.
