Description of how to implement in the class:
To introduce the study of numbers, I will review with the class over our Base 10-
blocks by allowing the students to hold the objects. This will engage my students by
letting them engage with the content we will be practicing today. I will start the
lesson asking students if they know how many base-10 blocks are in a base-100
block. After a short discussion, I will challenge the students to see if our predictions
were correct. The students will then be given a bag of their very own base-10 blocks.
