its lightweight, weighing just 1300g, plus its comfortable

on the visor mechanism which they claim reduces the
whistling noise caused when the helmet cuts through the
air, and it seems to work. The internals are easy to remove
for cleaning, and youve even got the option to change
them for thicker or thinner cheek pads to improve the fit.
But the best part about the Spartan is that it comes
with an integrated sun visor built in. Ive always avoided
helmets with a sun visor as I deemed them uncool, but
they do make life so much easier. No more fiddling about
with changing visors to cope with low-angle sun on my
early morning commute. Ill still use my race lid for racing
and trackdays, but for my commute Ill be sticking with my
sensible Spartan.

for the title
One of the most promising young
talents in the series, Luke Mossey
has his eyes set on fighting for
the MCE British Superbike title
in 2017 as he remains with the
Bournemouth team.
After securing a place in the top

believes the next step for him is to

Itll be my third year with
Bournemouth next year and were

for us is to fight for the title. In
year one we fought for the Riders
Cup and this year our aim was to
make the top six, and we did both
of those, so the next step is to be
fighting at the front.
The first stage of that is to
aim for my first win, which is
something we wanted to achieve
this year but for one reason or
another it didnt happen. BSB is
so hard and competitive now,
everything needs to be in the right
place at the right time.
The 24-year-old is excited by the
prospect of having Leon Haslam in
the garage with him next year, and
is hoping he can learn from having
a more experienced team-mate.
Itll be nice to have Leon in the
garage, hopefully we can get some
good feedback from each other,
especially in testing.
