Male : Hello, maam. What can I do for you today?

Female : This is quite lovely. Where was it made?

Male : Oh, I see you have excellent taste. Yes, that is beautiful, isnt it? Its the local
pottery. I think it was painted here by a local artist.

Female : its really something do you have anything else by this artist?

Male : Well, Im not really sure who exactly painted which pieces of pottery, but here
are some similar pieces.

Female : No, theyre really not the same.

Male : Well, how about these here. I had them brought in just this morning.

Female : Yes, those are quite nice. What about the prices?

Male : Obviously, it depends on what you would like to buy. That plate, that you
were first looking at costs 50 bucks.

Female : 50 bucks! Thats quite dear. I cant afford that.

Male : Remember, these are hand painted pieces of pottery, that kind of handicraft
work doesnt come cheaply.

Female : Yes, I understand that. But I really think that 50 bucks is just too much.

Male : Listen, I can see that you are in love with that plate. Lets just make it 45
bucks. Id really ;ike you to take that home with you.

Female : How about 35 bucks? I really cant go any higher than that.

Male : I really cant, I mean that would be selling at cost.

Female : well, 38 bucks is absolutely the most I can spend.

Male : All right. I really shouldnt. The artist is going to have me put out of business
for selling his wares at such low prices.

Female : Come, come. Lets not exaggerate.

Male : Youre a clever one, arent you?
