CONCLUSION

Tuberculosis, as a communicable disease, could easily infect other people especially

within a family. With this in, it should always be kept in mind that preventive measures are

the priority. Along with treatments, people suffering from tuberculosis could achieve fast

healing through the involvement of family members. Their role and support, communication

pattern, and their active cope with the patient suffering from TB are factors towards recovery.

Therefore the researchers concluded that the family has a big effect in the recovery of

a family member who has tuberculosis. Each member must have active involvement towards

the patient, by doing this, it is expected that fast recovery is possible.
