Bob Strivens passed away on Wednesday at Park View Haven Nursing Home in Coleridge.
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 12, from 2-5pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge,with a
prayer service at 4pm. The funeral is scheduled for Monday at 10:30am at Immanuel.

The Red Cross Blood Drive was successful with 23 units of blood
collected! Thank you for your generous donations and helping to
replenish the national shortage.

Armchairs are available if you are in need of an armed chair during worship.

BICYCLES BUILT FOR MANY
Do you have any bikes hanging around that
you are not using? Orphan Grain Train
would love the opportunity to repair those
bikes and ship them to people in need of
transportation. In countries such as Haiti,
Philippines, Latvia, Nicarague, etc. bikes are
their only source of transportation because
of the low cost. Most families cannot afford
bikes for their children. For more

Kids Club-Date Night
FREE babysitting!
Hey parents, the Fellowship team wants you to
have a night out on us! Drop your newborn
through 6th grader off at St. Johns on Thursday,
Feb. 23rd between 5-5:30. We will feed them
supper (hot dogs, mac n cheese, chips & fruit) &
provide fun activities with adult supervision while
you enjoy a date night, hang out with friends, or
just a couple hours of much needed quiet time.
Pick them back up by 8. See you on the 23rd!

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF
PERSONAL CARE KITS
February & March is time for Personal Care
Kits for Lutheran World Relief. These kits
are often given to those who have lost
everything in the wake of an earthquake or
having fled from violence as their homes
were overtaken. The very simple gesture of
giving a Personal Care Kit can give someone
the encouragement to start anew
beginning with a bath. You can share Gods
grace and love by providing that simple
comfort.
Each kit should include:
One bath-size towel
Two or three bars of soap
One adult-size toothbrush
One sturdy comb
One metal nail clippers
Please do not donate items with religious
symbols, messages, or a group name. Also,
no items decorated with the US flag,
patriotic or military symbols, including
camo. All items should be new.
Watch for the washtub in the west hallway
to drop off kits.
