7.1 Merespon makna yang terdapat dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan
interpersonal (bersosialisasi) pendek sederhana secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk
berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur: meminta, memberi,
menolak barang, dan meminta, memberi dan mengingkari informasi, meminta dan menolak
pendapat, dan menawarkan / menerima / menolak sesuatu.
C. Learning Objectives
At the end of the course students are expected to be able to:
Identify the expression of asking, giving and declining opinions correctly.
Use the expression of asking someones opinion, What do you think?; giving opinion In
my opinion,...; declining opinion I dont think so properly.

Long time ago in a far far away village, there lived a boy named Hartanto. One fine day, Hartanto met his
best friend named Hartanti, the florist, in her garden. Hartanto asked Hartanti to help him for help to
Hartanti to plant some flowers in her garden. He walked, walked and walked to Hartantis garden.
Good morning, Hartanti, said Hartanto.
Good morning, Hartanto. What can I do for you? asked Hartanti.
Then Hartanto answered, I need some flowers for my party next Monday. Could you mind to plant
some?
Hartanti accepted to plant some flowers for him, OK, what kind of flowers do you want?
Hartanto seemed confused to choose the flowers then he asked Hartantis opinion, Whats your opinion
of the best flower for my party?
Hartanti answered, In my opinion, the best flower is white rose. How about you? Do you like it?
I dont think so. How if the red one? Hartanto said.
Hartanti smiled and answered, Ah, thats a good idea. Alright then, I will plant some red roses for you.
Finally, Hartanti would planted some red roses for Hartantos party. Hartanto felt happy because Hartanti
wanted to help him.
