NOTIFICATION
Eligible Candidates are invited to attend Walk in Interview along with prescribed application
form with recent passport size photograph and the copies of certificate in evidence of (both educational
& technical), date of birth, caste and experience,by paying Rs.1000/- by way of D.D in favour of Director,
NIMS or cash at NIMS Cash counter for Junior Staff Nurse Internees to gain experience, to pursue
higher studies in specialities of their interest. The period of internship is for (1) one year. During the
period of insternship an amount of Rs.17,000/- p.m. is paid as stipend. The Candidate has to attend
interview on 17.02.2017 at 10.00AM at Mini Conference Hall, Old Building, NIMS. Age should be
between (18 to 34) 5 years relaxation (SC/ST/BC) as on 01.01.2017. The intake of internees are
depending upon the available Internee seats as on the date of Interview.

Sl Internees Qualifications required

1 Junior 1. Must have passed B.Sc.Nursing from a

Staff Nurse recognized University.
Internees 2. Must have registered with Nursing Council
OR
3. Must have passed
A) Intermediate Examination or an equivalent recognised
qualification
B) Must have passed General Nursing Course of 3 years
duration and Midwifery training of 6 months duration from an
Institution recognised by Nursing Council of India.
4. Age between 18 to 34 years as on 1-1-2017. Five (5) years relaxation
in case of SC/ST/BC

A. The Venue of Interview is at Mini Conference Hall, Old Building NIMS , Nizams
Institute of Medical Sciences, Panjagutta,Hyderabad-500 082.
B. The eligible qualification should be recognized by the Nursing Council of India.
C. The Internship is not an employment, after completion of intership they will be relieved.
D. SC/ST Candidates has to pay Rs.500/-
E. The internship does not confer any right for employment. The internees shall follow the
instructions of the Matron / Nursing Superintendent or any other Officer nominated by
Director.
F. During the internship the internees are eligible for 15 days of casual leave only.
G. If any internee wants to leave the internship, she has to submit one months notice.
H. The Institute has right to terminate the internee without any notice for the reasons
stated below:
a) Unauthorised absent to duty
b) Commit of misconduct
c) Derelection of duties
I. At the end of One year, experience certificate will be issued.
