Unnecessary violence against animals is a heinous crime.
Be a voice for those who do not have one., says Debasish
Mridha. That quote explains why I wanted to write a paper about
the cruelty that happens to animals on earth. In this paper you
will learn about animals in shelters, endangered animals, and how
we can take action. It is important that you read this paper
because what you are reading about are serious problems. This
topic is important because it teaches people what is happening to
the animals in our world.

Animals in Shelters

Imagine a bunch of cats and

dogs inside cages, but what happened
to them? Sometimes in a shelter dogs
and cats are put to sleep. Other times
they train the cats and dogs for future
owners. But one thing every shelter
does to dogs and cats in shelters is
take out something in the body of a
cat or dog so they can't reproduce.
Studies show that pets are good for our health but what will
happen if we dont have dogs or cats anymore in the future.
Now you know what happens to pets in shelters.

Endangered Animals

People rarely think about wildlife when they

poach animals. But they are hurting our
environment just by killing one animal. An
example of how an animal becomes endangered or extinct is the
ice because during the ice age the wooly mammoth and saber
tooth tiger roamed the earth but they were killed/poached by
human civilization for their fur, pelts or because they seemed
dangerous. These animals started disappearing by the minute.
They became endangered then they become extinct. An
endangered species is an animal that does not have many of its
kind left in the world. The reasons so many species of animals
are disappearing is because we poach animals, commercial kill
animals, pollute the ocean and kill animals. They do this for the
fur, meat and much more. We know
we cannot be kind to animals until we
stop exploiting them -- exploiting
animals in the name of science,
exploiting animals in the name of
sport, exploiting animals in the name
of fashion, and yes, exploiting animals
in the name of food., says Cesar
Chavez. 19 species of animals in the
world are critically endangered and 28 species of animals are
endangered. One of the most endangered species of animals is
the tiger because six species of the tiger are endangered and
three extinct. This is a serious problem because animals play an
important part in our ecosystem by keeping an even ratio of
animals. These animals need to be saved!

How You Can Help Save Animals

Everyday animals and pets are killed. But now you can
learn how to help. To help save endangered species
you can learn about endangered species around
your area
you can stop using chemicals like herbicides or
pesticides on your plants
make your home wildlife friendly
 visit a national park or refuge to learn more about
endangered species
plant plants that are native to animals in your
area
adopt an endangered species
spread the word
don't buy products from endangered species.

To help save animals from shelters you can

donate money, donate supplies if needed,
spread the word, put up signs for shelters,
adopt a dog or cat donate to sick animals.
Use these tips about how to save animals and take
action!

Do you know what an endangered species is or what

happens to pets in shelters. If you don't like pictures of
animal cruelty being posted on social media, you need to
help stop the cruelty, not the pictures. You should be
bothered that it's happening, not that you saw it., says
Marie Sarantakis. Take action! Make a difference! Save
animals!
