Baggage Information

Each student is allowed only 1 checked bag and 1 carry-on bag. The checked bag fee of $25 and any baggage fees associated with
instruments are included in the cost of your trip. We will be paying all baggage fees with one form of payment. It is crucial that you
follow the size limit for your bags so that we do not delay the check-in process.

Please observe the following baggage guidelines from the American Airlines website:
We calculate the size limits of your bag by adding the total outside dimensions of each bag, length + width + height.
Your checked baggage allowance is:

Medications on High School Overnight Field Trips/Competitions
The following guidelines are in affect for all overnight HIGH SCHOOL field trips and/or competitions.

High School students may carry and self-administer over the counter medications (Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc.) and some prescription
medications (ex. antibiotics) with parental permission on overnight field trips/competitions. Students may NOT carry controlled
substances at any time. All controlled substances, including behavior modification drugs, must be kept and administered by a
designated sponsor (school employee).

All medications (prescription and non-prescription) that the student will be taking on the trip must be documented on this form.
Prior to leaving the school, the student must turn in this completed form and show the medication in the properly labeled original
container to the designated sponsor (school employee) for the trip. ONLY enough medication to cover the duration of the trip
should be taken with the student. Only FDA approved medications can be brought. Any controlled substances must be given to
designated sponsor (school employee).

Timber Creek High School
Seattle Trip Rules
1. All Keller Independent School District and TCHS rules and policies will be in effect during this trip.
2. Students are representing Timber Creek High School. Any behavior or actions that might shed a negative
light on TCHS will be handled by directors and school administrators as needed.

3. Students must adhere to all time schedules. Failure to do so will result in being assigned to stay with a
chaperone for the remainder of the trip.
4. Students should stay within appropriate noise limits in the airport, hotel, and the conference venue.
5. Care should be taken to only view appropriate programing on airplanes, personal devices and in the
hotel.
6. Students should politely comply with all airline regulations. Students should stay in groups of 4 or more
in the airport.
7. Some examples of infractions and how they will be addressed are as follows:
a) Drugs and Alcohol - Students will be turned over to the authorities which will result in them
being returned to their parents at their parents expense. Upon returning to school, we will
dismiss them from band program and the student will incur any school punishment that applies.
b) Students out of room after curfew Student may be sent home the expense of the parents, or
student will be assigned to a chaperone for the duration of the trip.
c) Shoplifting or any criminal activity will result in being arrested by the Police and dismissed from
the band program.
d) No boys or girls shall be in the opposite sexs room. All students involved will be sent home at
the expense of the parents.
e) Students must not leave with any person other than TCHS personnel or chaperones.

Important WIBC Dates/Information
Attendance in class and at outside rehearsals is vital for the success of this concert!

This Schedule is based on the marching band advancing to State Marching Contest on 11/8 pending
the 10/29 Area Results.

In the event of needing a Plan B we will replace selected marching band rehearsals with WIBC
rehearsals. If you follow the schedule below AND the marching band schedule that is at
www.timbercreekband.org, you will have the correct amount of time allotted for the two events. We
will send schedule updates if needed on 10/30.
