Have you ever been to a place that

A place which attracts a lot of
tourists every summer is Platamonas.
It is close to Katerini and near the sea
and as it is in the Mediterranean its
climate is mediterranean.
We visited Platamona two years
ago in our holidays and we stayed
there for two weeks. The area was
amazing and so was the
accommodation. Although we found
it difficult to find a hotel to stay, we
finally were lucky to reserve a room
in a hotel.
The most interesting place in
Platamon was the castle of
Platamonas. We also liked the food
we were served at the hotel. We were
surprised by the beautiful beaches
seems just like an exotic island? This
year we went to Agiokampos a
popular holiday resort where there
are a lot of interesting activities to do
and have a lot of fun! It's certainly a
place we will never forget!
First and foremost it includes a
lot of tourist attractions and shops in
which tourists can buy souvenirs.
Also there are too many restaurants
and traditional taverns where you can
enjoy the local dishes of Greek
cuisine which are delicious.
Moreover the sea was really clean
with endless sandy beaches where
you can swim and do some
watersports. It is suitable for families
and for young people too as it
provides a huge range of activities
like scuba diving and beach volley.
Concluding the night life in
Agiokampos is an experience that
will remain in your memory for ever.
The numerous clubs are the perfect
choice for young people to have fun
and meet the locals.
HOLIDAYS IN GERMANY

Have you ever been to such a
beautiful place before? That was the
first thought I had when I faced
Germany with its beautiful
landscapes of green and flowers. It's
for sure something that will stay in
my mind.
Last summer I went to visit my
uncle in Germany with my sister. We
were in a small town called Coblenze
and it was amazing. The city was cut
in half by a huge river and to get on
the other half you went into a cable
cab that transported you there. On the

didnt like the noise of the night
clubs, though.
To sum up, we believe that
Platamonas is an amazing option for
summer holidays as it has a range of
activities to take part in.

because of all the clubs and bars that
exist so it's not easy for you to sleep.
Moreover, all the people use their
cars and not their bicycle and as a
result the city is full of fumes. Also,
if you come from a different country,
it will be a little difficult for you to
adopt because most of the local
people speak only their language.
The last disadvantage is the fact that
this town is a little small and as a
result the activities are limited.
To sum up, this town might be a
bit small but it can give you the
holidays you are looking for because
of the clubs and all the other shops
you need in order to have fun. To add
more, all the people are friendly so

famous hotel critics. The city of
Platamon has been built besides the
sea and the mountain Olympus. Near
the village on top of a hill there is a
famous castle where you can enjoy
the stunning view of the Aegean Sea.
Apart from the advantages
Platamon has also an important
disadvantage. Because Platamon is
famous for its view and the sea many
tourists arrive every day so its
difficult for someone to find parking
space. Also the village has many
night clubs so there is much noise at
night, making it difficult for tourists
to sleep.
I definitely recommend
Platamon as a holiday resort for
young people and teenagers.

Platamon which is a seaside place
and it is a very popular destination
for summer holidays. There are many
kinds of facilities such as resorts,
restaurants, cafes, nightclubs and fast
food. The sea is very good with very

That was my first impression of
Agiokampos. Not to mention the
friendly environment that this place
has. It's certainly a place that I would
visit again with every given chance.
A few years ago I went for the
first time and since then I have been
going there every summer. It seems
to me that it is a stunning destination
for summer holidays. The sea is very
clear and peaceful, and also the
beach is charming and full of
visitors. For instance, when summer
begins many people come because of
the beautiful landscape. There is a
variety of beach bars that anyone
could spend their day and enjoy the
view of the sea. At night there are

they always make you feel
comfortable. So I would absolutely
recommend it to anyone who wants
to have the best holidays in his life!
THE BEST HOLIDAY
RESORT

Do our personalities change
when we go on holiday and leave our
troubles behind for a few days? That
was my first impression of the
Chania in Pileio with its snowy trees
and ragged mountains, not to
mention the beautiful crystals of ice
that were falling from the roofs. It's
certainly a place I will never forget.
I spent a week in a hotel in
Chania with my family in the area of
Pileio, a gigantic mountain that rises
at almost 1,700 metres. While we
were walking on the soft snow, we
saw a baby bear playing with his
mum and many deer with their
beautiful horns. There are also many
traditional restaurants and shops,
which were made by people who
lived in the region thousands of years
ago.

First of all, Platamon is visited
by people from all over the world so
the area is very touristic and
particularly popular with people from
Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and
Romania. Also, there are many water
sports such as scuba diving, jet
skiing, kite surfing, wind surfing etc.
So it is very popular with young
people because it has many bars,
cafes and beach bars. Furthermore,
there are many seafood restaurants
with fresh fish and a big variety of
seafood such as lobster, crab,
shellfish, octapus, shrimps, etc. In
addition, it has a very beautiful castle
which dates back in the Middle
Ages.
Secondly, the old people who
visit Platamon may not like this place
because of the hustle and bustle
because there is a very intense life.
Also, for a baby this place may not
be good because it doesn't have
shallow waters so it is a little
On the other hand, even though
it is a remarkable place, there are
some drawbacks that should be
pointed out. First and foremost, there
is only one hotel in the area and very
few rooms to rent, which means that
not many people can be there at the
same time. To add up, the hotel is a
bit far away from the city center
where the shops are located. Another
major disadvantage is that there is no
hospital nearby which means that in
case of an emergency one will have
to drive a half-hour-drive to a nearby
city.
To sum up, Agiokampos is an
amazing place to spend your summer
holidays because of the beautiful
beach and the peaceful environment.
I would definitely recommend it to
you.
A PLACE TO VISIT

Last summer I stayed to my best
friends house in Mesaggala a small
village 45kh/m outside Larissa city. I
was surprised by the population o f
the village and by the nature around
it. From the one side you can see the
endless green and from the other side
you are able to see the beach. There
are many plant species like coconut
trees and a lot o f orange trees.

For me, the most remarkable
feature of the resort was the feeling
of endless space of snow. The
traditional restaurants had,
furthermore, very tasty food and this
food was authentic made by the
local women. This resort has a ski
center that contains 50 points of
snow and this snow was frozen and,
the ski was very exciting for the
skiers. The only thing I did not like
was that the frozen snow on the road
caused many accidents to many
drivers.
In conclusion, I am really happy
that I got to spend some time in such
an amazing and unforgettable place,
and I would highly recommend to
anyone not to lose the opportunity to
visit it.
