Description of how to implement in the class: Ipads will be handed out before class to each
individual student. Students are welcome to use their own devices. Each student will then login to
their brainpop account and begin to explore different game and videos within the website. The
students will find at least 2 games or lessons that interest them and answer why they were
interested in that particular game or lesson. We chose to use the fitness video under the health
section as our lesson.

Next they will pair up with a partner and discuss the fitness video and how it affected them. The
students will then write down how they think the software could improve and what they would
change about it. Then they will write what they like and dont like about the software. The students
will be assessed on if they can navigate the website and find a lesson they like and improve it.
* Examples of common instructional models include whole group, teacher-led, student self-paced, small
