I am a career music teacher who fell in love with teaching reading! I am currently

finishing my Literacy Specialist certification, and I am looking for a full-time position where I
can use my new skills to provide Response to Intervention services and explicit evidence-
marypipan@aol.com based reading instruction at the lower-elementary level. Classes I have completed include:
Fundamentals of Language and Literacy, Topics and Issues in Reading Difficulties, and School
Charlottesville, VA and Classroom Literacy Assessment, and many more. I am also available to give Professional
Development presentations, or lead literacy-focused book study groups for teachers.
