Managed and updated behavior plans for students with various
needs, implemented new system with students dealing with
anxiety, and continued seeing individual students that current
school counselor is seeing. Tested students for pre-screening for
accelerated classes. Taught monthly guidance lessons, scheduled
time for outside resources to come in for classroom lessons.
Worked on core team to continue to help students inside and
outside of the classroom with behavioral issues. Currently working
with counselor to help make transition a smooth process for her
and for students.

Grandview School District - Grandview Middle School
Implemented new counseling model since I was the first full time
school counselor in the building.
Individual counseling for middle school students, along with
scheduling and teaching guidance lessons. Ran truancy court, and
other small groups, developed new schedule, used SIS to help with
schedule changes, worked with Student Support Team to help
with interventions for students, monitored and gathered
materials for MAP testing, and was the MAP testing coordinator
in the school.

Fort Zumwalt District - Lewis and Clark Elementary
Individual counseling for children grades 3-5 for grief, peer
relational issues, divorce, home issues, and anger issues.
Developed and taught classroom guidance lessons, along with
scheduling lessons for outside organizations to visit school. Lead
504 meetings, RTI tier meetings, worked with teachers, parents,
and administration over gifted students and students requiring
IEPs. Worked with school counselor to make her transition back
into the office as smooth as possible.

Fort Zumwalt District-St. Peter's Elementary
Individual counseling for children grades K-2 over issues such as
impulsivity, attention, anger, anxiety, grief, and the home
environment. Developed classroom lessons, lead classroom
guidance lessons monthly for each classroom, led Red Ribbon
Week, participated in RTI meetings, collaborated with
administration, teachers, and parents, and made the transition
between school counselors as seamless as possible.
