Financial implications
An upgrade in school bandwidth as a result of this request will result in a variation to the schools
annual Web and Internet Access Service (WIAS) contribution. Annual contribution rates are outlined
online.
Schools will also need to budget for a pro rata contribution to cover that period between the month of
upgrade and the end of the current financial year.
A decision not to proceed with an upgrade may incur cancellation fees for work undertaken by
service providers.
