Identify, test, track and implement the installation of ESX Server service patches and bug fixes.

Ensure that all ESX Server software will have up-to-date patches and firmware upgrades.
Assist developers or Third-Party personnel to implement Third Party Software patches when required and in accordance with
the Change Management process.

Obtain and coordinate hardware and firmware repairs that may include installing software patches and/or service packs.
Plan and implement all patches and version/release upgrades in accordance with established Change Control Process and
Procedure.

Coordinate hardware and/or firmware repair (may include reactive patches).

Schedule required downtime for maintenance, and patch installation.


Test and verify system software patches, fixes or enhancements within a <Client> provisioned production like environment
prior to installation on <Client> production servers.

Ensure that appropriate version(s) of all appropriate patches, and all appropriate device drivers are available to be installed at
each physical location where servers are located. (this may involved use of the <Client> network to distribute patches).
