What did you grapple with?
I struggled with some of the notation and form that I was to use when solving
problems and listing values, for it was fairly foreign to me. I also had a difficult
time with the Exercises problems at the end. Those particular problems
required me to put my knowledge to the test, and for many questions I felt as if I
was not equipped to take on those problems.
What habit of a mathematician did you use and why?
I used the habit of a mathematician, Be Systematic for this assignment. I
wanted to ensure that I could repeat the same steps over again for different
values for a variety of problem types, and this definitely helped me in the long
run. I was able to pick up on small steps and tips by replicating the processes
multiple times.
