MANTENIMIENTO

1INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES

Read this instruction manual thoroughly before beginning the installation. INAEL assumes no liability if
the equipment is not installed properly.

This instruction manual does not cover all possible contingencies related to the installation and
maintenance of these equipments. If there are problems not covered here, contact INAEL.

Note: It is assumed that this equipment will be installed by qualified personnel and with the safety
practices required for work with high voltage equipment. This Instruction Manual has been written for
such persons and is not a substitute for good training and experience in safe handling with this type of
equipment.

2 DESCRIPCIN DEL PRODUCTO

The manual lever control MPH has been designed for the operation of remote controlled INEXT
switches, which are mounted outdoors, on metal or concrete supports, and are separated from the
INEXT switch by a maximum of 13 meters.

This control basically consists of: - Support base plate.

This plate is made of hot galvanized steel and the drive tube is supported on it to prevent the weight of
the tube from affecting the switch. Said plate has indelibly marked the three positions in which the switch
can be found, which are: OPEN, CLOSED AND REMOVABLE, and that in each one of them it is
possible to lock, by inserting the drive lever and if it is considered necessary, Putting a padlock on the
bottom. If the switch is locked in the TELEMARK area, you can not push the locking lever into any of the
other positions. To tie the plate to the hardware of the tower or to the tower, we must make two holes of
13, separated 160 mm, horizontally.
- Drive lever.

This lever, is of galvanized steel or in its defect can be of Stainless Steel. With this lever the INEXT drive
is manually operated by inserting it into holes that are made in the drive tube. This lever incorporates a
hole for the assembly of a lock, so that the control can not be operated by unauthorized personnel.

o - Lower Tube.

This drive tube has at its upper part a disc with a series of holes for the
adjustment of the travel of the drive shaft. With this series of holes we get
that when we turn the lever if the switch does not come to open or close, it
is because we need to travel in one direction or another, which with this
piece we can solve.
- Drive tubes.

O This galvanized steel tube of 3 meters in length, is responsible for transmitting the rotary motion from
the bottom plate to the switch. The equipment can be assembled with 2 or 4 tubes depending on the
height of the tower, which will be united with the pipe joining element, provided for this purpose. The
tubes are supplied drilled, but in case it is necessary to cut one of the tubes at one end, we must re-drill
the tip of the tube for the assembly of the pipe union.

- Connecting element of tubes.

O This piece of galvanized steel is supplied with screws for the connection of the tubes, inserting it into
the interior of the drive tube.

Intermediate support. (Optional)

O This equipment should be mounted to prevent buckling of the tubes, when the helmsman is over 8
meters in length. Allows regulation by means of drills, approaching or moving away from the center of
the tower, depending on where the tube goes.

- Gearbox.

O This mechanism is located at the top of the control and screwed to the cover of the
INEXT, and by means of a set of gears, is responsible for transmitting the movement of the
tubes towards the axis of the switch. Also in this area, some limit switches are installed to
signal the position of the switch when it is in the position to be operated by TELEMARK,
and the same time, which in the case of being in the OPEN or CLOSED position, can not
be operated by TELEMANDO, sending a signal to the control panel.

If an INEXT, prepared to be operated by remote control, we would like to operate by

means of a guard, we should only disassemble this Box.

3 RECEPTION

The appliance can be packed in a wooden cage or carton. Before unpacking, a visual inspection should be
carried out to verify that there is no damage that may have occurred during transportation. If any damage is
observed, ..., IT SHOULD NOT BE UNEMPLOYED AND THE TIMELY MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES TO
BE REPLACED.

If it goes in carton, it must be opened for inspection. In case of anomaly, proceed as in the previous case.
3 STORAGE

After reception has taken place and while it is not to be installed it should be stored in a dry place free of
corrosive agents.

4 INSTALLATION

Before proceeding with the installation, the previous sections should be taken into account. It is advisable to
make a 2nd reception before proceeding to install definitively.
It is important to give all the bolts the tightening torque specified in Table 2.
5.1 Installation of the drive control.

1 - Mount the drive tube that is attached to the transmission case, taking into account that in this
assembly, we must fit a filling bush, to absorb the differences in diameter between the shaft leaving the
box and the interior of the tube. These pieces will be joined with a screw that is supplied mounted in the
INEXT, which must be tightened, but verifying that once tightened, the tube has movement from top to
bottom through the slide, and some side clearance, to power Abseber the tilt changes of the tower. The
slider that goes in the tube or the shaft, serves to absorb differences in length produced by the
dilatations and contractions of the tubes, in the different seasons of the year.

2 - We will make the corresponding joints of tubes with the piece destined for this purpose, tightening
the screws with the tightening torque indicated in the tables.

3 - Once all the tubes are joined, we will join the regulating plates, without paying much attention to
where we put the screws, as this only serves us to screw the base plate in its correct position.

4 - Very important and before finally fixing the plate or fittings to the tower, we must take into account the
issue of the dilations and contractions of the tube, therefore, if we make the assembly in winter, the tube
must be fully hung, to That in this way when summer arrives, and the tube dilates, the slide absorbs the
differences in length, and in case the equipment we are riding in summer, it will be the opposite, that is
to say, we will moor the tube as high as we can , So that in winter when it contracts, the slide absorbs
the contraction and in none of the cases, it transmits efforts to the disconnector.

5 - Once the control is set, we proceed to regulate for its operation, proceeding as follows:

- With the switch in the OPEN or CLOSED position, we will rotate the drive tube with the lever until it
motions or offers resistance to be actuated, so that the control cabinet receives the signal that the
equipment is in position Of TELEMANDO.

- Once in this position, we will remove the union screws between the plates, and we will take the control
to the position of TELEMANDO, making sure that we have not moved the tube from the top or what is
the same, that the box Control, it continues arriving the indication that it is prepared to be actuated by
TELEMANDO.

- We will proceed to screw the plates, in corresponding holes.

- Once mooted, we will check again that the control panel is given the signal that the equipment is in
position to be operated in TELEMANDO, and at the same time we will make a
