2. Explain how you chose your team name

We selected a name that is easy to pronounce and sticks in the mind. It is fun to say
and is directly related to car races and technology. It is likely prospective sponsors
will recall it, over names with the word race or its derivatives in it. We inherited the
name from our f1 in schools team

12. Briefly outline the history of your team

It all started January 2015, when Kyriakos and Konstantinos of POLE POSITION
team, winners of the Knockout Competition of the 2014 World finals decided to
compete for the 1st World Finals of 4x4 in schools. Next joined the team Panagiotis
Terzopoulos, a friend with whom Kyriakos had worked in the past. Last to join was
Marios Armaos, one of Konstantinoss best friends. The connection between us was
excellent from the beginning. Although we are all interested in different kinds of
engineering, the element connecting us in this project is our love for cars and the
passion for Technological challenges.

15. What do you think makes your World Final team unique from other teams?

Our name, our marketing strategy, the organization of the team

We work on the basis of a STATURE of OPERATIONS, defining the roles and


responsibilities of each member

16. Magic moment - What has been the most exciting experience your team has had so far?

Our most exciting experience has been up to now constructing, improving and
testing our model

17. We can laugh now - Tell us about one of your teams funniest moments, maybe it wasn't so funny
at the time!

Up to now we are enjoying greatly working on the project, but we cannot really
recall of something that could be characterized as a funny moment. Maybe it will
come up in the future

18. What is the biggest challenge in this competition?

The biggest challenge in this competition is to combine several areas of interest,


such as technical knowledge, marketing, promotion, communication and financial
management. This requires people who can cooperate very well and are skilful,
each in a different sector

19. What are you most looking forward to at the WFs?

We are looking forward to meeting the other teams and to exchange knowledge
and technological improvements. On the other hand we are looking forward to
enjoying the competition, regardless of the outcome

20. What are your expectations for the WFs?

We want to compete honourably and make the people and companies that
supported us happy with our performance. Well try to have a challenging model
and be as prepared for the competition as possible. Well do our best to achieve our
biggest goal, which is the Pole Position of the technological challenge
