I. Define the following:

1. Project - an individual or collaborative enterprise, possibly involving

research or design that is carefully planned, usually by the project
assigned team, to achieve a particular aim.

2. Project Proposal - type of business proposal that delineates the

objection of a proposed endeavor together with the steps necessary to
accomplish the objective. In addition to identifying an objective and tactics
to accomplish the goal, a project proposal sets forth the benefits of
pursuing the endeavor.

3. Marketing - an organizational function and a set of processes for

creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for
managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and
its stakeholders.

4. Project Study - An analysis and evaluation of a proposed project to

determine if it (1) is technically feasible, (2) is feasible within the
estimated cost, and (3) will be profitable. Project studies are almost always
conducted where large sums are at stake. Also called feasibility analysis.

5. Demand and Supply - Supply and demand is perhaps one of the most
fundamental concepts of economics and it is the backbone of a market
economy. Demand refers to how much (quantity) of a product or service is
desired by buyers. The quantity demanded is the amount of a product
people are willing to buy at a certain price; the relationship between price
and quantity demanded is known as the demand relationship. Supply
represents how much the market can offer. The quantity supplied refers to
the amount of a certain good producers are willing to supply when
receiving a certain price. The correlation between price and how much of a
good or service is supplied to the market is known as the supply
relationship. Price, therefore, is a reflection of supply and demand.
