2- Course Aim The course provides students with basic information about the
principles of genetics at the molecular level with a special
focusing on gene structure, function and regulation in addition
to cancer as a consequence of mutations. The practical study
includes an introduction to the anatomy of plants and division of
plant cells.
3- Intended Learning Outcome
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

different.
a.3. Describe how tissues in the same organism differ
morphologically though they have the same genome
structure.
a.4. Define the cell cycle and cell divisions: normal and
cancerous states.
