Surveying

It is a very basic subject in the field of engineering. Survey-1 is a very interesting and simple
subject in 2nd semester. It involves numericals which are lengthy but simple just calculator
work. Also in the lab part you will learn very basic things ( like how to use steel tape its
corrections, how to layout a building in field ) also you will learn to use an instrument known
as theodolite which is very useful and important in projects

Computer Programming

Computer programming is very simple subject. This subject needs your attention and things
will become easy for you. You will start this subject from the ABC of computer i.e., what is
computer? what is mouse? What is keyboard, CPU? etc Then you will come across a
computer language Q-Basic. (The ones who have computer subject in matric already know
about its older version as G-Basic). You will start working on it from 1+1=2 to a stage when
you will be able to make a program to find roots of a quadratic equation by just inserting the
constants as a, b and c. You will also learn V-Basic in the same subject.
