Step 2: Evaluate the Information
What did your RIASEC code tell you about your preferences?
My RIASEC code scored highest in Artistic which I expected it would since I favor anything that allows me
to be creative. My second highest score in Investigative, surprised me at first, however, after reading the
description; analytical, intellectual, scientific, explorative, thinker, I realized that it actually fit me
perfectly. The third highest was Social and that was no surprise as Ive always enjoyed helping people.
What did your MBTI code tell you about your preferences?
My MBTI code is also named The Counselor and that tells me that my preferences are careers that allow
me to assisting people. I am nurturing and I prefer work that will allow me to educate people and help
them realize their potential.
What further information would be helpful to learn about the careers that reflect your patterns of
interests and personality characteristics?
Some information that would be helpful to learn more about each career and if it would be a good fit for
me would be what daily tasks are required and what type of schedule I would work.
