Subject:- Regarding Legal Literacy Classes/ Legal Awareness Programme at Schools.

National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) was constituted on 05.12.1995 and it is a

statutory body under the Legal Services Authority Act. The Hon'ble Chief Justice of India is
the patron-in-chief of NALSA and a Senior Supreme Court Judge is the Executive Chairman
of the said Authority.
In this regard, for implementation of NALSA's Plan of Action, 2016-17, Legal Literacy
Classes for all the Schools under the jurisdiction of South-West District are to be held to
sensitize on the topics mentioned below in the month of February, 2017.

) POCSO Act.

In this regard, the following Legal Aid Counsels are hereby appointed as Resource
Person to address the students ofyour Schools and sensitize, with the coordination ofthe Co-
ordinator of the concerned Schools mentioned below against their names. After completion of
the programme a repoft mentioning therein date of visit, number of participant attended, be
submitted in the office of the undersigned by next day. The report be attested by
Principal/HOS of the School. You are also requested to take the photographs of the said
programmes and to send the same through mail or to submit to Data Entry Operator of this
Office.
