Ryan: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Talentime 2014 will begin in 5 minutes.
For the enjoyment of everyone here tonight, please switch off all electronic devices
or set it to silent mode.

Shereen: Thank you Ryan, for that timely reminder. The theme tonight is Dare to
Dream and it would be unbecoming of us to mar the dreams of our contestants
and the experience of our audience with inconsiderate behaviour.

Ryan: Indeed, different people in history have shown us how dreams can and do
become a reality and Talentime has provided each and every finalist a platform to
explore their passion in music and dance. It has also allowed them to showcase
their talents.

Shereen: Before we start this exciting evening of song and dance, please take note [Play evacuation slide]
of the emergency evacuation route as shown on the projection screen.

Ryan: In case of emergencies, please follow these steps to ensure your safety. Do
not rush or panic. Stay calm and proceed to the nearest exit. Do remember the
emergency route nearest to you!

Shereen: It should be noted that food and drinks are strictly not allowed in the
auditorium and do refrain from flash photography as you attempt to capture the
highlights for tonight.

Ryan: Meanwhile, the show will begin very shortly! Could I request all audience to
be seated please as our Guest of Honor will be arriving very soon.

Ryan: My name is Ryan, and we are your hosts for tonights programme.

Shereen: Tonights event promises to be unlike any other! Believe me, ladies and
gentlemen, we are going to be treated to a dazzling night of music and dance!

Ryan: You know, Shereen, Talentime is a grand opportunity for our friends and
peers to showcase their performing talents, and I must admit that I am very excited
to see what will unfold tonight.

Shereen: Absolutely right, Ryan. We started off the auditions for Talentime with
many eager contestants, and some made it into the semi-finals, but tonight, we
have finally come down to only 11 finalists.

Ryan: Thats true, and these 11 finalists will be competing across 4 different
categories tonight. I dont know about you, Shereen, but I believe the audience can
expect to see very intense and vibrant performances tonight.

Shereen: Undoubtedly, Ryan. Tonight is THE night, where the curtains will fall and
only 1 champion will be crowned in each category. The contestants have trained
hard, practiced hard, and this is the moment they have been working so hard for:
this is the Talentime Finals.

Shereen: First up, lets put our hands together to welcome our contestants from

Shereen: You know, Ryan, after a grand opening performance like that, I just cant

wait to see what the finalists tonight have to offer.

Ryan: I have to admit, Shereen that I feel absolutely excited too, and Im certain
everyone in the audience tonight is feeling the same way.

Shereen: Indeed, were very privileged to have with us tonight 2 distinguished

guests who have taken time off their busy schedules to serve as our guest judges
along with our resident judge.

Ryan: Our first judge is a firm believer in the holistic approach to education and this

Ryan: Last but not least, we have with us tonight, Mr Chen who is the resident
Vocal Instructor at the School of Performing Arts. Having taught for over 7 years,
he has had the opportunity to work with many young talents during this time. He
has also undergone the tutelage of several international-based vocal instructors in
countries such as Japan and Korea as well! He is one of the trainers of the CJ Crew,

 and together, they have performed for shows such as the Singapore Entertainment
Awards and Sundown Festival amongst many others!

Shereen: Thank you for being here with us tonight.

Ryan: Tonight, our finalists will be competing to be crowned Champion in 4

categories. They are: Best Vocal Soloist, Best Non-English Vocal Soloist, Best Vocal
Group, and the Best Dance Group! However, other than the judges in tonights
competition, YOU, as the audience, will also have a big role in determining who
walks away as Champion in each category! You will get to vote for your favorite
competitor through the SMS voting system!

Shereen: The voting instructions are rather simple, as you can see on the projection
screen. All you have to do is to text the contestant code to 100. For example, if you
want to cast your vote for VG1, text VG1 to 120. The number for both the Vocal
and Dance categories is 110. The voting line will only open after all finalists from a
particular category have performed. Remember that you can only cast one vote
per person per category and that the usual SMS charges depending on your service
provider apply.

Ryan: And more importantly, your votes may not only allow your favorite
competitor to be crowned Champion in his or her category, but also allow him or
her to win the title for Overall Champion!

real tough as all the contestants are powerhouses of their own!

Ryan: I couldnt agree more. Ladies and gentlemen, for our first finalist in this
category, we have a melodious singer to mesmerize us tonight. Jaslyn is always on
the lookout for opportunities to step out of her comfort zone and challenge
herself. And tonight is one such occasion. Let us welcome Jaslyn with her rendition

Crew is a reputable group who was recently invited as the opening act for tvN's
Guest KPOP Starhunt Final Audition in Singapore! Cj Crew has also performed at major
Performance events such as the regional Entertainment Awards 2011, B2Sts Singapore Fanmeet
#4 2011, Jolin Tsais MYSELF World Tour 2011 and also alongside regional artiste
Derrick Ho!

Ryan: They are our final guest performers for this evening, and Im sure we are all
excited to see what they have to show us tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, please
