the University of Arizona "What is teaching?" in this lecture. And also
Homo Pedagogicus: The Evolutionary Nature introduced the idea of teaching as evolutionarily
of Second Language Teaching adaptive behavior (TEAB) because it enables
individual and group adaptation to our
extremely varied and complex natural and social
environments. This lecture helped me know
more about the L2 classroom interaction.

in the production of word stress, which helped
me broaden my views.
3. Online Resources a. Apply Membership for TESOL Journal Sep.6, 2016 TESOL Journal provides me with a valuable
opportunity to know the infinitive teaching in a
definite space. From there, I could know what
other teachers and professionals are doing and
help me do self-reflection, know more about
myself and know what I am doing and what I
have done before.
b. Pay attention to the Purdue OWL Sep.7, 2016 I think this is a very good website for us to learn
and prepare academic writing. You could find
valuable and feasible materials, ideas, plans and
article samples from this website, which greatly
help me in the whole process of practicum
process.
c. Introduction to library resources Sep.8, 2016 In this experience, I learnt how to use the library
data-base as resources for research and
practice. And I also learnt how to use as a
valuable resource for the teaching preparation
and also a teaching tool in my practicum.

Pronunciation the perspectives of law, science and
pronunciation, which fully illustrates how the
ESL functions in different fields. We learned law
cases, in which to use the language more
logically and with more professional vocabulary
to do argument. I also learned to make scientific
hypothesis. And the most impressive part was
how to incorporate pronunciation teaching in
our ESL classroom.
c. ESL Day #3 Intentionality Nov. 7, 2016 The topic for this ESL day was intentionality. Dr.
Verity organized several activities to help us look
at the ways in which planning, reflection, and

backgrounds and proficiency levels, they found
that different operationalizations led to
different patterns of results. The author also
examined the distribution of FSs in different
frequency and MI bands. Their analyses
revealed that the consistent use of corpus-
internal criteria for FS identification yielded a
different set of patterns of results.
d. Round Table #4 Oct. 28, 2016 The first presentation shared data from a

small APLNG data sets to show how to produce
visual maps of such fields using a multivariate
exploratory technique called multiple

6. Workshop a. Schreyer Institute for teaching Excellence Oct.3, 2016 From this workshop, I learnt that motivation is
Workshop-Motivation as an orientation toward a goal, which is a very
important and crucial part for learners success.

learners motivation for the learning process,
which has practical meaning for our ESL
teaching.
b. Schreyer Institute for teaching Excellence Oct.19, 2016 This workshop focuses on the teaching tips for
Workshop- Teaching Tips for International international students. The speakers introduce
