Rima successfully completed her B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from my university,
International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT).I have been acquainted with her for the
past four years and I saw her enthusiastic, energetic and creative sides making her capable of pursuing her

Farzana Rimas undergraduate level CGPA of 3.51/4.00 in the department of EEE, IUBAT speaks about her
devotion, perseverance and distinguishable talent, intellectual, analytical ability, research potential, and originality
of thinking from a close distance. She distinguished herself by submitting exceptionally well researched and
interesting projects.

As a classroom teacher of Farzana Rima in two of hers theory courses- Circuit Analysis I (EEN 183) and
Measurement And Instrumentation (EEN 331), I found her as one of the best students in the class in both of the
courses. Her understanding of the complex ideas and visualizing different problems of Circuit demonstrated her
ability in this arena. She was always interested in knowing new things and did not hesitate to come to me for
learning. In Circuit Analysis II course, she proved her leadership skill and project enthusiasm. She consulted me
for several times regarding the term project given in the lab course related to this theory course. Her project
Frequency Meter and Function Generator was one of the best student projects done at that time. I would like to
mention that she is one of the very few students getting A+ in both of the aforementioned courses.

As a student, Farzana Rima distinguished herself in my course by receiving one of the highest grades in the
classes. But this accomplishment only scratches the surface of her ability and character. As a teacher I found her
as the type of person who loves learning. Shes one of those rare people who works very hard and diligently, but
does so with a smile on her face. Encouragement from her advisor as well as her classmates, coupled with her
own growing desire to succeed, transformed her into a top 5% of highly ambitious student of the class. She
carried out her undergraduate thesis work under supervision of the most senior professor of the department of
Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

I strongly believe that given an opportunity, Farzana Rima provides leadership in future technology and contribute
significantly to the society in the years to come. Her relentless attitude, intellectual curiosity and extreme interest

graduate degree in 2017.She, is known to me for about 4 years as one of my direct undergraduate students.
Therefore I was in a position to observe her very thoroughly. She is one of the brightest students I have come
across in recent years. I enthusiastically support her candidacy into the program.

Farzana Rima has completed undergraduate thesis under my supervision and I was the course teacher of a theory
course- Circuit Analysis II (EEN 225) and her laboratory course - Circuit Analysis II (EEN 226) .This
interaction provides me with sufficient information to gauge and asses the intellectual capability and analytical
skills that she possesses. I would rank her among the top 10 students I have come across in my teaching
profession. She has completed her B.Sc. degree in 2017 with a CGPA of 3.51 in a scale of 4.00. She has an
excellent pre-university academic record as well.

The first impression that one gets of Farzana Rima is that of a person endowed with technical soundness and
intelligence to put it to optimum use. She combines intelligence with imagination and this consequently makes her

(IUBAT) in January 2017. shes undergraduate level CGPA of 3.51/4.00 in the department of EEE of the best
private university of Bangladesh speaks about her devotion, perseverance and distinguishable talent, intellectual,
analytical ability, research potential, and originality of thinking from a close distance and she was placed among
the top 7% students in terms of merit position in the department. As a direct teacher during the courses EEE 463
(Switchgear and Protective Relays), EEE 464 (Switchgear and Protective Relays Practice), EEE 455(Power
Stations) and EEE 456 (Power Stations Laboratory), I found Farzana Rima to be a regular and very attentive
student. Her class participation was excellent and her overall class performance was great. Her seriousness and
dedication earned her an A+ (the highest achievable grade) in all of my courses she attended. Farzana Rimas pre-
university results are also excellent.

At a personal level I have seen her work actively with a passion for innovative approaches in solving research
problems. Whenever any task is given she was very enthusiastic in approaching it. She has the capability to
complete assigned tasks with minimum guidance that makes her intellectually independent. Creativity,
individuality and hard work have been the style of this student that has always made her to shine. Recently I asked
Farzana Rima to prepare a poster on our journal paper which will be showcased as one of the significant
researches being performed by the faculty members of the department. She completed the poster with fantastic
illustrations and perfectly placed explanations well before the scheduled time.
