Automatic TA Optimization
Highlights:
In view of CN services, If it is not appropriate for a cell at the edge of a TA to belong to this TA, the paging efficiency is reduced, and
the load on the CN is increased due to frequent location updates.
A TA optimization task is used for analyzing whether it is appropriate for a cell at the edge of a TA to belong to this TA. If it is not
appropriate for the cell to belong to this TA, the M2000 provides a recommended TA value for this cell. Then, the M2000 delivers the
optimization advice to eNodeBs. In this way, paging efficiency is improved and network load is reduced.
A TA optimization task involves the following steps:
1. Starting a TA optimization task to optimize the cells at the edge of a specified TA.
2. Managing and implementing the optimization advice.

Benefits:
With this feature, the M2000 can check whether it is appropriate for the cells at the edge of a TA to belong to this TA.
This feature improves paging efficiency and reduces network load.

Antenna Fault Detection

Availability
This feature is available from eRAN2.0.

Summary
The faults on the antenna system and radio frequency (RF) channels are caused by the improper installation of projects when the
projects are created, relocated, or optimized. The faults can also be caused by natural or external changes.
This feature provides the function of detecting faults on eRAN antennas and enables users to detect and locate antenna faults.

Benefits
This feature implements the detection of common antenna faults, thus improving the efficiency and accuracy of fault diagnosis.
By using this feature, RF engineers need not use equipment to measure eNodeB on site every time, thus reducing the project
cost.
