1.0 Executive summary
Our company is a new start-up company. The name of our company are Brilliant and the
product we selling are mist spray name as Brouillard. Our retail shop is located in The
Gardens Mall. Our mist spray has many advantages for people, it includes scar repair, toner,
oil control and also anti-irritating effect because inside the mist we use organic ingredient for
all of the skin types people. Not only that, it can help people to keep their face fresh and
clean all times. Our bottle also special custom made for each season, customer is more
presentable and able to keep their own confidence and it also easy to use and convenience to
carry. For example, they can put it into their bag, this can let them use anywhere and anytime.
Our competitors are bio-essence, Lancme, Shiseido, Laneige, Estee Lauder, Shiseido and so
on. Our platform is to make our customer convenience is our priority. For our PESTLE
analysis, our economic is facing recession problem. For social is nowadays, people more care
about their face, more like convenience things. Technology is we can save advertising fee
because we can promote our product in internet in free and we can sell, and buy online. In
environment, our products do not test on animals and also the bottle can be recycled in order
to save our earth. For our swot analysis our strength is high financial support, high
convenience. Weakness is new company and low brand image. For opportunity is selling to
overseas, other country no need purposely come to our country and buy it and our threat is
GST. For our segmentation, demographic is target on working lady, high income level and the
age is from 25 to 39-year-old. For geographic is target on Asia urban area and for sunny
place. For psychographic is lifestyle of branding and for behavioural is loyal to our product
and giving good benefit. Our distribution channels are manufacturer retailer to consumer.

2.0 Proposed product offering
After the discussion among our group member, we had decided to take the risk and start up a
new product that different from our competitor and break thru something new. Our product is
a mist spray that provides special features to our customer. This product has the features that
is able to help our customer with their face troubles like oily face after working or staying
outside for the whole day, they will feel dirty or tired. This product will able to help them to
let their face feels clean and fresh at the time.
Besides, our product also has the features which is anti-irritating to face, which means that
our product will help consumer to feels relax and comfort with their face condition. The
other features that our product offered is, the product is included with toner ingredient. Toner
is an ingredient that can clean our face dirt and also keep our face moisturize.
Due to our hot weather problem, most of our peoples face will turn oily. This is a big issues
face by people who are living in hot weather country. Our product will be able to help them
to solve this problem. Our product has the features of oil control that can clean up our oily
face and let us feel more comfortable and fresh.
Nevertheless, our product feature is about skin moisturizing. This feature is to keep our face
moisture all the time and will not feel dry and if worsen our face skin will peel off. It is
important to keep our face moisture all the time. As our weather was so hot and we must
always keep our face moisture all the time for preventing our face become dry.
Our business model is we will B2B. We retailed our product to pharmacist like Guardian,
Watson, Caring and other. We think it is the most effective way for our product reach to
customer and also spread our product information to our customer.

3.0 Market opportunity and rationale
Brouillard mist spray target Asia urban area as our customers. This is because most of the
urban people having higher income than rural people. Other than that, most of the Asia urban
country for example like Malaysia, the weather is sunny throughout the year. Other Asia
country may have 4 season, but every season they also need the mist spray because the cold
weather also will make their skin dry. We target at urban area because it will have the more
opportunity than rural area. Our target demographic are 25 to 39 years old working lady. We
target at 25 to 39 years old working women is because, most of the working women they
need to work and take care their family, so they will feel stress. Stress will make their skin
appear more red and inflamed (dermalogica.com, 2016). This is why they need our mist
spray. Moreover, there are a lot of mist spray brand in the world, but most of the mist spray
only contain one or two functions, however our Brouillard mist spray contain 4 function
which is scar repair, toner, oil control and anti- irritating effect. With this four features, it can
help our customers keep their face clean and fresh condition at all times. Thus, the working
lady no need to bring 4 different products to go out. This can bring convenient to them. Other
benefits include keeps customers feel more presentable and able to keep their confidence. Our
mist spray is very easy to use at any time and convenient carry to anywhere. The working
lady can bring the mist spray to their working place, when they feel their face dry, they can
use the mist spray anytime anywhere. Moreover, our mist spray are 100% pure, natural and
organic ingredients. All the ingredient that we use is suitable for all skin types, especially
sensitive skin and anti-irritating effect. When we produce the mist spray we do not test on
animals and it is suitable for vegans and vegetarian consumers. In addition, our mist spray
bottle can be recycling. It is to save our earth.

4.0 Customers segmentation, targeting & positioning
4.1 Segmentation
The demographic audience segmentation that we have chosen are working lady aged from 25
39 with high income level with interest in high end products. The reason why we have
chosen the targeted age is because majority of ladies aged 25 39 are working and they have
purchasing power for the items they want.
The geographic segmentation would be Asian urban areas which have sunny weather all year
round with medium income to high income level. For example, areas such as Malaysia and
Singapore are one of the targeted areas.
The psychographic segmentation would be people who are looking for convenience with
branding lifestyle. The reason is because our product is an easy to travel pack with
multifunctional benefits to users.
The behavioral segmentation that we are looking for would be loyal consumers, and frequent
skin care product users.

4.2 Targeting
The target audience we have chosen would be working ladies aged 25 39 which is most
affected with stress. Base on a research done, stress makes skin appear more red and
inflamed. Stress causes increased blood flow and expansion of capillaries, which makes skin
appear more red and inflamed. (dermalogica.com, 2016).
The geographic target we have chosen would be Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor, as these
two areas are the prime area or states in Malaysia. Based on a research done, the highest
mean monthly income level is Wilayah Persekutuan followed by Selangor. Also, almost 200
million people moved to urban areas in East Asia from year 2000 2010 which is based on
the information. (ndtv.com, 2016). Another reason why we have chosen Malaysia is also due
to the weather which is sunny throughout the year. The sunlight and heat in Malaysia causes
people to have oily faces quicker.

4.3 Positioning
We have positioned our product to be on the high end platform. Also, we will have our own
retail store to start up our product. Nevertheless, our product can also be sold in places such
as Parkson and Sephora to target our targeted audience as stated above. Kindly refer to below
for the perceptual mapping done for our brand.

5.0 Financial Overview
As for the financial, well begin out with RM 1, 000, 000 and our spending will be up to
RM 975, 933 for our first year as our activities and spending is shown on the table 1.1 below.

Based on research, there are 132, 602 of visitors at Mid Valley Megamall daily and were
targeting to sell off 13 bottles of our product per day. Well be gaining RM 900, 000 in our
first year as well be selling off 4, 500 bottles of our product with the price of RM 200 each
bottle. Well lose RM75, 933 instead of profiting through our first year.
The table 1.2 below shows our strategy for our second year and well be spending with a total
cost of RM 901, 400 for our second year.

As were growing and more known towards the public through our activities and advertising
in our first year. Well increase our target to sell off 18 bottles per day. There wont be much
spending on the advertising side but an increase towards the production bottles. Well be
earning a total of RM 1, 300, 000 by selling off 6, 500 bottles in our second year. Well gain
back RM 398, 600 and able to cover back our previous loss of total RM 75, 933 in the first
year. Well profit RM 322, 667 in our second year.
The table 1.3 below shows our third year strategy of our marketing plan.

Advertising isnt much of our priorities during our third year and well once again increase
our target by selling off 24 bottles per day. Well be selling off a total of 8, 500 bottles of our
product and gain RM 1, 700, 000. Well profit RM 671, 600 in our third year.
Our company Brilliant is a new company, so our launch plan is very essential is grand as our
product are starting as a high end product. Our launch is held in our first retail shop which is
located at The Gardens Mall. We will have an opening ceremony on the first 3 days of our
shop opening. We will hire an ambassador, our ambassador is a female ambassador who must
be the age from 25 to 39 and the perfect match is Venice Min who is a famous Malaysian

model and actress. She was a most wanted FHM model at 2015, which makes her super
famous (Anon, 2016). Most of the people in Asian country know her, since our product are
based in Asian country so she can be our ambassador. She will be used as our model on our
shop poster and she will attend our opening ceremony as well.
As for our entry strategy, first of all, our pricing strategy will be premium strategy which is
high price with a high quality product (Sba.gov, 2016). The reason we choose to be high end
product is that currently in the social, everyone is looking for product that are branded more
than economic item, especially facial product.
Our product is the best suit for all the working ladies who are stressful and busy. Our product
feature and benefits are the most suitable. Our main benefits are to keep customer feel fresh
and main feature is convenience (Business.qld.gov.au, 2016). Working ladies can use the
spray whenever they wanted to.
Our promotion which is advertising, we will have our advertising on magazine and
billboards. Billboards is the best way to make awareness because our product billboard are
located at Petaling Jaya area where most jam are located (prezi.com, 2016). Magazine we
will collaborate with Pop culture, Mary Claire and Elle, magazine which are target on
working ladies.
Our segmentation on place which our first retail shop is located The Gardens Mall, once of
the largest high end shopping located in Malaysia. Where mostly people who looking for high
end product will go to The Gardens Mall.

As to relate our product with our brand name, we decided to use the glass bottle range as the
packaging for our product as it gives the opportunity for brilliant marketplace display place
and also perfect accessibility fixed with most favorable protection for the product. Practically
with every option for creative concept development and glass design, we are matching it with
our target audiences trend and style. At the same time, with an individually variable average
product collection, a multipurpose high-quality for the extensive market.

to hold out transportation and a bit of bumpy treatment too. Since that its good packaging
bottles, the price is very high. In fact, there are a lot of who festivities in their passion for

A variety of colors that is to be make up with the right color to suit each occasion: in accord
with our customers' requirements.
Impartial as much as the colour and concluding, the closing must be individually harmonized
to the packaging project. Most of our typical products have standard necklines and therefore

Flyers takes an important part of character in expanding the market. Using a flyer can be a
very effective sales-support tool if it's used properly for your specific business. Businesses
that are looking for dozens, or even hundreds of new customers. In this 3days beauty fair, we
are targeting to expand our market share. So the message that are contained in the flyer are
essential. First of all, the first thing we let customer see is our market share information
which is contain on a 2 side flyer. The front of the flyer will show our product image and
location. On the back of the flyer will be the information and benefit of making the company
market share bigger. On the day of beauty fair, business partner will be looking for new
company to work with and this is the right time to make them join Brilliant. Flyers will be
given out continuously for 3 days, making sure every customer have a look at our flyer and
make them come ask for information.

The reason why I design the backdrop like this is because pink is our products main color.
The reason for the color pink is because it represents the characteristic of being affectionate,
thoughtful and caring, which deeply represents the ladies attitude. Pink is also known to be
in between color for red and white; it represents success with red and insight with white.
I created the backdrop to have a lighter pink so it doesnt overlay our products logo. Also I
included the logo of the event to give honor and respect to the organization to allow us to
have a booth area during the event.
The reason why we chose Venice Min as our brand ambassador is because, Venice is famous
as a model and has a huge follower in the social media. Venice is also a social media
influencer and has promoted many other products. She has promoted many famous brands
from Gucci, Thomas Sabo and many high end brands. Nevertheless, she is also an actress in
Malaysia.

The reason I choose pen drive it is because when people receive this premium gift, they will
more appreciate and use every day. When people use every day, they will make sure our
brand logo and name in front of people eyes daily and increases our brand recognition.
The reason I choose the tester (sample) of small bottles mist it is because some of people will
attract from our design bottle so that when they have buy our product, we will free the tester
for them to let them keep and this will let them buy our product again.

The reason why I choose to give notepad to our customer because notepad can let them write
down their important notes on it conveniently. In order to get our limited edition notepad, our
customer will have to go through registration process by filling their personal information
which consist of their names, mobile number, e-mail address and others. We also have created
Facebook official page for our company. We also ready some tablets for our customer to Hit
like on our page and they can get our notepad. It is also limited edition notepad that specially
design from our company for giving to customer. Besides, the notepad also in small size and
consumer can put in their office bag or in their hand bag. They can use it whenever they
remembered anything important or write down their daily task on it. The other reason why
the notebook is red in color because, red color can let people feels comfort and relax. Red
also represent of passionate of love and also can attract attention easily. The slogan might
alert consumer that the product is about mist spray product. By this way, we also can do some
promotion about our product in the other way.

Page 2 indicated the features of the Brouillard mist spray. This is to reach the information of
Brouillard mist spray to our customers and create awareness.
Page 3 shows the benefits of Brouillard mist spray which is it can keep customers face 24-
hour clean and fresh condition lasting all day and customer will feel presentable and able to
keep confidence. It also stated that Brouillard mist spray contains 100% pure, natural and
organic ingredients, no animal derived ingredients and it is suitable for vegans and vegetarian
customers.
Page 4 display the Brouillard seasonable mist spray bottles. The bottles are convenient to
carry and use anytime anywhere. There are 10 different design of bottles, it is collectable and
the bottles can be recycling. Customers can collect all the bottles that they like.
