Proposal: Finding a deeper meaning in a photo through school

culture (TAF Culture)
Taking photos of normal school environment and find a deeper meaning and
find how the photo represents school culture
Summary/Needs and Opportunities
In todays society students do not see the importance of school culture in a school.
School culture is an important factor in creating a good school environment for students as
school culture is represented through; hard work, teamwork, community and relationships
between students. There are many schools that just dont have good school culture as many
people/students are bullying people, bad relationships with other students, and lack of
teamwork as it could create a bad atmosphere for students and can impact other students
and could impact the happiness of the students and learning.

Photography can showcase why school culture is important as the photos deeper
meaning will showcase what good school culture will look like, and compare it to what a
school with bad culture looks like and how it impacts the learning environment of the school.

Audience / Clients / Users

The plan is to create a website for ages 11+ to talk about the importance of school culture
and showing that through photos and will compare photos with the deeper meaning being a
school with good school culture and one with a bad school culture and show students 11+ the
importance of school culture and bring awareness that the actions they do are can affect the
environment of the school/classroom. Students will benefit from this because they will see
the importance of school culture because and hopefully have an impact on any negativity in
an atmosphere

Timeline

March 3 Deliverables Get Equipment

-Ask permission to use family camera (im not confortable on
that camera)
-Configure the settings like ISO or aperture
-Clean lenses
-Bring to school
 April 7 Deliverables Photo Taking/ Permissons
-Ask people for permisson to take photos
-Write list of names who will be taken photos of
- Set up a time to take photos
-Come to place/time to take photos
-Set up settings for the room
-Take photos
-Delete Bloopers
-Find a photo editing software and download it

May 5 Deliverables Editing Photos

-Aquire a photo editing
-Upload the photos to a computer
-Save the photos save into a secure file on my computer
-Pull up on the editing software
-Make the photos look the best as it possiably can

June 2 Deliverables Website/Album

-Create a website
-Format the website
-Upload the photos to the website
-Review the website
-Publish it
-Review it again
-Correct Errors
-Publish final website

June 9 Final Project Due -Do any last minutes touches

-Review websites
-Look over photos
-Grammer of website.

Product
The product will be to show students the importance of school culture through
photos of a good school culture and bad school culture. The final product will be a website
talking about the importance of school culture and have it represented through photos by
showing teamwork, community, atmosphere and relationships between students.

Conclusion
I am excited about this project because I enjoy photographing photos that look nice
and contain a deeper meaning behind it as it brings another layer of meaningfulness into a
photo, and I believe that this project will improve my skill and challenge me in doing so. You
should support because this will challenge me and will improve my skills in photography and
will showcase TAFs school culture. I am also very passionate about photography as the
most beautiful moments could be captured and for other to see.
