process involved in the manufacturing is not only capital intensive but also requires years of
R&D to get the right mix of metal/alloy. They got technical know how from DODUCO Gmbh,
Germany(agreement expired 20 years ago)

Modison is the only player in the MV & HV segment in India; and the largest player in the LV
segment.A play on large scale investments planned in the expansion cum up-gradation of Indias
transmission and distribution (T&D) infrastructure, and the ongoing rural electrification
program. Modison is expected to benefit immensely from ongoing rural electrification project as
it is a key supplier of electrical contacts to all leading players L&Ts Electrical & Automation
division, Anchor, Havells, Crompton Greaves, etc. They are lone supplier to AREVAs gas
insulated switchgears. Getting the electrical contacts approved by the OEMs, not only requires
significant amount of time and money, but also a strong association with the OEMs right from
the product development stage. The entry barriers in this segment are hence high.

Improvement in profitability on account of higher volume growth in MV&HV electrical contacts

where the profitability is much better in comparison to that of LV electrical contacts. Modison is
one among 4 players of world to have HV electrical contact technology(plz verify) If we exclude
the notional profit/loss from the silver inventory, the operating margins dont appear as volatile
as the reported operating margins

Exporting to Russia ,japan and recently started to USA.

Recently it has signed MOU with "Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Processing Plant Russia, (Renova
Group) to float a joint venture company in India to manufacture and sell jointly with their
technology, precious metal products for electronic and automobile industry. (Renova Group is
a Russian conglomerate with interests in aluminium, oil, energy, telecoms and a variety of other
sectors)

Refined silver bar divison will do well as there will be silver inventory gains ( 20% price rise
happened)they receive upfront payment for procurement of silver.now can do 15% ebitda
margins as silver prices have stabilized. Keeps over 6 tons silver as inventory

it can do 15% volume growth and 20% inventory gains I believe(for the first quarter and another
10% in july) and a good bet on governments spending on power sector especially rural
electrification for long term. Yesterday stock gave a breakout above 60 rs
